"I love it that Ivy League coaches are coming to our camp and Big Ten coaches are coming to our camp. South Florida is coming. We've got about 70 schools that are coming to our camp."
JMFJ just broke some fools hand with a shot.
I'm watching on TV. My NBC feed is so out of balance. The ice is so bright I can't hardly see the puck.
Or even the blue lines for that matter.
Dude lay off the pipe, it will help you look at the lines better. ;-)
Makes you wish for the glow puck?
We are peppering him with no success. I'm getting nervous.
I empathize with the Swiss here a bit. I've been on plenty of teams that have tried, mostly unsuccessfully, to play this style. I'll say two things: a. it takes a ton of discipline to be remotely succesful and b. it's pretty much the least fun way to play.
Seriously, didn't you feel a little cheated in Mighty Ducks III when the team basically set up a fence around their own goal? I'd much rather see the flying V. Believe me, the Swiss don't like playing this way, but they know it's their only chance to win.
It's also frustrating because when the other, more talented team does finally break you down, you have no plan B. Your plan B is to lose by 8 goals.
its just such swiss way to play...
[ahhhhhhhh that wasnt a goal!!!!!!!!]
The US is getting a lot of scoring chances. One is these is bound to get by. 0-0 5 minutes into the 2nd.
US is about to go on the power play
Need to put something in here. Their goalie is catching fire.
GOAL!!!! ... maybe...
maybe not... no. no goal. SO CLOSE.
Oh. My. God.
Listening to the reaction of the no goal call, it's amazing how many Canadians have Swiss duel citizenship.
It must be hard to duel for Swiss citizenship with those little pocket knives.
Put it on the board! 1-0 USA on a power play goal!
Yayyy. I can't find a stream anywhere, so if everyone could, you know, keep on talking, that'd be great.
Shots on goal: 35-9 now. Jesus.
Zach Parise FTW
Need to keep on the pressure.
ARGH GOAL WAVED OFF. DAMN SLOVAKIAN REF!
Weak call. The helmet just fell off.
I thought for sure the Swiss had a goal just now.
Thank you, mods, for fixing it.
Ice'd it. Then made the next shot on an empty netter. 2-0 with 11.6 s left.
Got to give credit to Hiller though. That was simply amazing goaltending.
Great game. Hats off to both goaltenders.
Miller again, playing lights out.
Miller is making up for his msu sins. Good for him!
