Anybody know what time this bad boy will kick off? A little worried this ends up the 2nd half of a double header with TCU @ Minny leading off and pushing us back to 9 or 10 on the east coast.

The prep on a Thursday just had a different feel to it than a Saturday. It being an opener will lessen the significance, but you still essentially lose a day or two of practice. You miss more school than you would normally. Like I said. A Thursday night just had an entirely different feel than a Saturday afternoon or night. Even for college kids.

Rice-Eccles Stadium is not an easy place to play, especially at night.  Even though it only holds around 45,000 people, it gets pretty loud in there, having been to many games there.

I trust in Harbaugh, but this being the first game of the season with an unknown at QB, this game does make me quite nervous.  Hopefully all of the coaching turmoil at Utah causes some problems for the Utes, since we will be breaking in an all new staff under Harbaugh.

Harbaugh. I'm expecting what I expected last season...a really good defense with an offense finding its way. I think between program experience, the new staff and Peppers the defense will bring an attitude and confidence.

Utes -6. At home in the Wasatch is a tough place to pull off a victory. A quick Snap back to reality for us Blue fans. Utah 28 Mich 20. Things are looking better after a tough loss against a good team.

I wouldn't want it any different.  We have our coach and we all know he is going to do great things here.  He gets his first opportunity on the road, against a good opponent, and as an underdog.

I have no idea what this season holds for us, but I have a lot of confidence in HARBAUGH!!

out coached in the 2nd half against UT. After, this game I knew Hoke would not make it another year. I expect a well coached and prepared Michigan team. I think Green and Isaac will have big games! Finally good coaches to get our now experienced OL clicking! I'm sure JH will have one of the QB ready! I think we surprise UT, and they may find scoring on our D quite difficult. I'm predicting a 27 Michigan - 20 UT final!
