Univ of Michigan Night at Comerica Park on Sept 30th - The blue and maize Tigers hats are back
For those interested, after taking a two year COVID-19 hiatus the Detroit Tigers have brought back University of Michigan night. This year's game will be on Friday September 30th (no home football the next day). They also brought back the original navy blue Tigers hat with the maize Old English D as seen on Jim Harbaugh when he threw out the first pitch a few years back. New Era stopped selling these hats about two years ago so this is the one way to get them. Should be some good Michigany people showing up to do the first pitch and National Anthem. Right now we have a UM Glee Club doing the anthem with a ROTC Color Guard presenting the colors and Wolverine Trooper will be at the game, in the stands etc. Can't post the first pitch yet but its a good one if he can make the trip in.
The Tigers donate $5 to the Pat Maloy Cancer Scholarship at Michigan which goes to UM students with financial need created by the fact that they or a direct family member have cancer. Sadly you would be surprised at the number of applicants each year.

Wish the bill weren't flat. I found my self REALLY wanting one of those when I first learned they were a thing, but never wanted to look like Kid Rock.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I could have sworn I saw those hats on sale at the MDen on Main St. when I was at Art Fair.
