This feels like the great hockey conundrum. Last night, even with 30 shots they seemed to be too cute by half, passing up solid opportunities to put the puck on the net, waiting and trying for that one perfect chance. Completely anecdotal, but their one goal was a throw it in the area and get a positive bounce.
All of that to say, you're not wrong. That's what makes it a conundrum.
