you are right, the B10 hoops schedule isn't bad either:

purdue @ illinois
and as you stated, sparty @ nebraska.
B10 is a gauntlet. i find it hard to believe sparty will drop to 0-4. would be worried about the EL couch population if that were to occur.

i'll add that if we look back on the CFB playoff thread of a couple of days ago, about 95% were predicting a clemson win over ohio. unfortunately those predictions didn't age well.

IU looking strong out of the gate. I would be absolutely okay with Tom Allen as Michigan's HC...he gets alot out of his players, develops them and I think having the quality of recruits Michigan would draw he has potential to build a nationally relevant program.

Iowa St vs. Oregon is the only game that feels like it'll be interesting. Like, I think Ole Miss and Indiana will score a ton of points but it might be particularly fun to watch in terms of overall play.

Penix is such a LARGE part of the IU offense. So much so that they appear to have been castrated, missing such an essential member.

They could never run the ball this year and it's clear that without the threat of Penix moving around teams can sort of zero in on their receivers and slow them down.

Totally normal to want a former player coaching - especially if they are a great coach as well. Mike Hart has yet to show he’s a great coach or that much better than other options out there.

Watching Iowa/Rutgers basketball game. Rutgers are a tough squad. They have athleticism and play hard on defense. They finally got shooting to go with their defense which made them a tough out in the B1G. Steve Pinkell has to be B1G COY with the way Rutgers has been playing. They are a NCAA tournament team last year and missed out a chance to play in it for the first time ever. They have regrouped well and is an NCAA tournament team this season.

It was a great game for both teams. Rutgers did a solid job at slowing down Garza but Garza came on in the 2nd half. B1G continues to beat up on each other. As long as Michigan wins regardless of the margin, they're in good position for the regular season title.
