him getting on base sets everything up
October 10th, 2011 at 4:26 PM ^
Anyone know of a live stream for the game today?
October 10th, 2011 at 4:27 PM ^
Firstrowsports is not working for me.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:27 PM ^
We don't deserve to win if we can't get this run in.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:27 PM ^
At work and wondering if anyone is streaming the game?
October 10th, 2011 at 4:29 PM ^
October 10th, 2011 at 4:34 PM ^
That's for jinxing him into grounding out to the pitcher.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:38 PM ^
October 10th, 2011 at 4:47 PM ^
You still deserved it.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:58 PM ^
October 10th, 2011 at 5:00 PM ^
Good one.
October 10th, 2011 at 7:51 PM ^
You made him leave bases loaded in the 9th. Thanks
October 10th, 2011 at 4:31 PM ^
finally got him up with some guys on and he hits a weak ground out to first. Come on Miggy. Pick it up.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:34 PM ^
our 3, 4, 5 hitters don't even get it out of the infield with 2 runners on and no outs. Infield fly rule, weak dribbler to first, weak dribbler to pitcher.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:43 PM ^
no strikeouts, that's something!
October 10th, 2011 at 4:32 PM ^
They've got to seize this chances
October 10th, 2011 at 4:35 PM ^
Has anybody tried out the ESPN Gamecast BETA? I've tried it a little bit, but I prefer the old layout/design. Any other opinions?
October 10th, 2011 at 5:37 PM ^
Ehh. Could be worse. I like the field and Twitter integration. However, my main problem is that you can't roll defense, spray chart, and baserunners into one. Or am I missing something?
October 10th, 2011 at 4:40 PM ^
If it is true that Delmon could bat and not throw, I am surprised that Leyland originally left him off the roster. It might have been worth keeping one of our hotter bats for pinch hitting, etc.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:42 PM ^
velocity seems lacking so far ... maybe he is working up to it but seemed faster against the Yankees.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:48 PM ^
How fast is he throwing so far? I can only follow on Gamecast for now and that doesn't show pitch speed.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:52 PM ^
but it seems a little lower. I seem to remember 95s and 96s against the Yanks. He was more around 93 with a couple 95s. Perhaps, it is him finding a strikezone. The commentators mentioned that he was struggling to find the strike zone in pitching practice.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:43 PM ^
the slowest, most uncordinated looking fielder of the ball that I've seen in a long time
October 10th, 2011 at 4:43 PM ^
Beltre kills me. I am also a Mariners fan, and Beltre was terrible in Seattle. Leaves for Boston and now Texas and he is doing what the Mariners originally signed for.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:53 PM ^
start to the game. Rangers get the big hits and our big bats continue to be ice cold.
What happened to that red hot Tigers team we watched in September?
Lots of game left, but still not looking good for the good guys.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:55 PM ^
He just threw 6 balls to raburn and peralta pops out on the first pitch, why? Be patient please.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:57 PM ^
Agreed. Holland is not hitting the zone early. Take some pitches and make Holland work to get the outs.
October 10th, 2011 at 5:54 PM ^
"pops out on the first pitch" you mean "flew out to the wall in dead center field"...then yes, I agree that's what happened.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:57 PM ^
Arggg. Come on wind. Just for Peralta...plz.
October 10th, 2011 at 4:57 PM ^
does anyone know whats actually wrong with it? I dont recall ever hearing any actual injury announced.
Also love fancona on here and the fact he actually pronounces Avila correctly and not AveEla
October 10th, 2011 at 5:24 PM ^
Alex hurt his knee in game 3, when he stepped on Cano's foot, here is an article

3 walks to load up the bases with 2 outs for santiago
Just like against the yankees the Tigers are making pitchers work and throw a lotta pitches but need a couple big hits
October 10th, 2011 at 5:04 PM ^
I thought that was a single for sure
October 10th, 2011 at 5:03 PM ^
We just can't get that clutch hit right now. Ugh....
October 10th, 2011 at 5:03 PM ^
Bases loaded and he tried to pull the outside pitch and surprise he grounds out.
October 10th, 2011 at 5:04 PM ^
Stupid Kinsler.
October 10th, 2011 at 5:09 PM ^
left on the bases after 2 innings.
Ugh.
Now a lead-off double....
Maybe i should go cut some grass and check in later. Might bring the Tigers some luck...
October 10th, 2011 at 5:16 PM ^
a leadoff double. hasn't looked sharp, but not bad. Good to keep the rangerrs off the board but still need a clutch hit to get a run across the board and hopefully loosen up the whole offense
October 10th, 2011 at 5:22 PM ^
should have been on third easily.
October 10th, 2011 at 5:25 PM ^
awesome way to score!!
October 10th, 2011 at 5:27 PM ^
how do you overturn that ... no replay ... did the guy from right field see that it hit his leg
October 10th, 2011 at 5:27 PM ^
What's happening?
October 10th, 2011 at 5:29 PM ^
that's what's happening. We just missed a homer .... now just missed a run ... have a bunch of stranded runners ... we need to score fergodsakes
October 10th, 2011 at 5:30 PM ^
umps overturned a call on something you really could not see without replay
October 10th, 2011 at 5:29 PM ^
That's bullshit right there.
October 10th, 2011 at 5:32 PM ^
probably the right call considering the umpire was appealing to 1B when the ball wasn't dead.
October 10th, 2011 at 5:36 PM ^
but my understanding was that the original call was no contact. The catcher needs to pursue that ball ... that's bad D by Texas. Either way, thankfully the point is moot! Go Raburn.
October 10th, 2011 at 5:38 PM ^
but the umpire was pointing to 1B; either appealing the call or signaling VMart to go to 1B. i'm not sure which.
