Threet to Eastern Michigan (Maybe?!?)

Submitted by RRerabeginsin2009 on
Is there any chance Steve Threet could be in a Eastern Michigan jersey to play for Coach English? Threet did transfer here when English was still coaching the team, maybe they bonded(even though English was def coord). I hope he does and helps turn that program around.

I think he'll still be a SO(rs) in 2010, but still has to sit out this year. So therefore he'll still have 3 yrs of eligibility.

that would be weird for him to come into the big house (I would think)but hey whatever. He would probably not come to this years game (he couldn't play anyway) and maybe the2 years after that we would not play them and that would eliminate the awkwardness.

I still want Threet to go home to Adrian College, where he could probably start and actually win a few games. The game is slower, thus making his slow decision-making not as much of a liability, and the players are shorter, thus making his low throwing motion not as much of a liability. His lack of accuracy won't be as much of a liability there, either, because most of the accurate QB's are at better schools, so he will be back on the Bell Curve for his conference. As for Threet helping "rebuild" EMU, I don't think he has the talent. The last time EMU was any good, they had NFL QB Charlie Batch. Threet can't hold Batch's jock at this point. And Threet might be an academic all-american, but Batch was and is a lot smarter QB than he is. Threet already folded under the pressure of being the UM QB. He doesn't need the pressure of trying to rebuild a terrible program like EMU.
