A website I have been following recently has had some nice features with Top 100 players for upcoming CBB season released today. I summed up the Big Ten teams and North Carolina.

Kofi as the #2 player in all of college basketball? 30 years ago, I'd agree, but there are so many athletic wings who do much more. Under 10 rpg, 1 bpg, and shoots 55-60% from FT. I know he's a force, but under duress he panics, and he's no outside/passing threat. Meh..

Interesting that after a big recruiting season for MSU, only 1 guy in the top 100?

Jaden Ivey is too low.  General consensus I've seen from NBA scouts / media is that he's the top prospect that returned to school this year.  He was voted to U19 All Star team along with (arguably) the two best prospects in the world in Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama.

It’s impressive how much steam the Ivey hype train has gained… sounds like he is a likely lottery pick. I just don’t think he is some can’t miss elite talent that will vault Purdue to the final four, but perhaps I’m biased based on his 3/14 performance in 31 minutes in a blowout loss to Michigan last year

Eli Brooks should be in the top 100, in my opinion. He’s probably our most important player that isn’t Hunter Dickinson. He’s a great defender and great shooter who can also play point guard. When he’s been out with injuries, Michigan has suffered. He’s done an amazing job defending some really talented guys, like Cassius Winston. I’m expecting him to have a big year.

i agree that he's an important player, but would you put him in the 100 best category?

I would put him ahead of Joey Hauser who made it as Honorable Mention.  I'd put him ahead of UM and MSU transfer guards and Houstan too.

cmon, who would you rather have for one season?  Brooks, Hauser, Walker, Jones or Houstan?  It's not who has more upside?  Or who is most talented?  It's Who Is The Best This Year?
