There are...
...days until Mike Martin (DL 2008-2011) sees Michigan Football begin their 142nd season on September 4th against the Western Michigan Broncos at the Big House.

Go Blue.
The last game of #68's Michigan career...
Thanks WH and enjoy as always!
Yep, back when we all thought Hoke was the Michigan Man to turn our program around but then he failed. Though, everyone was more excited when Harbaugh was hired and we all had high expectations. Hard to believe we are all thinking this Michigan team will struggle to break .500. Well, I hope Harbaugh surprises everyone this season and we win 10 games with a close game against OSU!
Hope for "a close game" against ohio?
That loser thinking disgusts me. There are no moral victories in this rivalry. A loss is a loss and forevermore will be a failure.
Fuck that bullshit. Win the fucking game!
Go Blue.
So it all comes down to what we (not the players) want or think! Thanks for clearing that up. No one has ever thought, or said that before. You’re special!
You meant, he's spatial.
I like that very grounded probabilistic thinking based on recent results is apparently "loser" thinking to this guy right right here. I mean, there's actual results and there's this weird version of "Knute Rockne, All-American" with a satirical version of the famous "win one for the gipper" speech and clearly your mind is in the latter world. I find it amusing in a morbid way.
I hear you, but let's try to be realistic on this.
If by some miracle we're within 14 points in the 4th quarter this year against OSU, that will be considered a sign of huge progress.
Right on. If we lose to OSU again this year, all these defeatist fans should be fired.
Agreed. I am not a betting man, but if I was, I would place significant money on the under of 7.5 wins this year. I expect 1-2 games over .500. Of course, I hope for way more wins.
I'm not saying that Harbaugh doesn't bear primary responsibility for how his team has played since he's been coach here, but Michigan got more lucky bounces, improbable breaks, and all-around good luck in that Sugar Bowl than Harbaugh has had in six years.
We will definitely re-examine this historic edition of the matchup that will be renewed in 68 days:
I hope it is a blowout in our favor at halftime and our 2nd and 3rd string QBs will get some game time minutes.
Would love that and would also be interested to see who ends up being 2nd and 3rd.
Dave Brandon would like to weigh in
Having Mike Martin on this team would make me feel much better about our chances this year.
I loved Mike Martin. A wrassling lineman.
Can't wait for another star DL to rock a number in the 60s or 70s.
Mike was terrific for Michigan. A beast and great team player.
