The Jordan era... The difference between Dave 'Branding' Brandon and Jim Hackett showed itself immediately, irrevocably, forcibly, and starkly. In barely more than one year, Hackett undid all of Brandon's fuckups, signed absolutely HUGE contracts (in terms of both dollars and prestige), and restored faith in the Ath Dept.
Dave Brandon = Tom Goss. Except that Goss was a good person that had bad timing in the position and didn't really know how to make it better.
