This was the first game of my Freshman year. That defense, and especially the D line with Messner and Hammerstein, was dominant. Jamie Morris was Mike Hart before Mike Hart. Our QB was pretty good also. Ahhh, the memories.

Also, Don Dufek Sr. wore number 30 and played HB for the 1950 Michigan team that went to the Rose Bowl and beat CAL. Dufek was the most valuable player in '50 and was all conference. You can see him score a TD in the 1951 Rose Bowl.

I would feel better if this countdown started at 30 days.
My trick is to not click on it everyday. Once a week or so. Then the numbers seem to go down much quicker. Of course that’s probably not what the op wants to hear, but I do enjoy them this way.
But now that it’s down to a month....every day is rather exciting so every day it is.
