That was funny I was gonna say something along the lines of wasn't that the same night (that branch job on Morelli) that the Tigers went to the world series??? I was in a Michigan Alumni Bar in West Seattle watching those 2 games.

Yes that was the same night the Tigers won the ALCS. I actually was at the MSU-OSU game in Lansing (free ticket) , which MSU lost 47-14 or something like that, and we left in the 3rd quarter to go watch the Tigers win. Later on that day we took out PSU pretty easily even though the score was misleading.

That picture of Branch is one of my favorite Michigan Football pictures of all time - doesn't beat Desmond's catch against ND picture or Charles rose in the mouth picture but it's a pretty amazing picture
