Tate Forcier- rating

Submitted by Jmakgoblue24 on
is this kid under rated?? rivals rating is a 5.9 .. steve threet is a 5.8... the kid has what 50 offers? and hes not a 6.0... his senior year number r pretty impressive... he might even throw 4 4000 yards with a rb that might rush for 1500

Underated... he works out 5-7 days a week, he'll get even quicker/faster once barwis has him. I dono if im wrong, but i think tebow didnt get up to 5 star until he led his team to state championship. If forcier leads his team to state championship game, or win it, he'll be 5 star prob. He plays number 2 ranked team in state this friday so we'll see..

Tebow led his team to a state championship in the top division in Florida, and a top 5 national finish. Forcier plays in one of the weakest divisions in California, and his team is not vaguely close to being nationally recognized.

I'm not saying that Forcier is/will be bad. At all. But this "Forcier is Tebow!!!" meme is silly. It's based on the fact that: a) they're white b) neither is a pocket passer Forcier is, plain and simple, not as big a recruit as Tebow was. That doesn't mean he won't be good. But you're comparing him to possibly the single-most successful college quarterback EVER. Lets calm a bit. Lower our expectations from "Best College QB Ever".

You're absolutely right. The Tebow comparison is off the deep end. A good first step would be to have Michigan have the best dual-threat quarterback in the state; then we'll worry about the nation. If he ends be a Dan LeFevour caliber dual threat quarterback that's a win in my book.

The internets is not a series of tubes. It's a truck! A big truck. A massive Mack truck hurtling uncontrollably down the highway. A hulking beast of a truck from beyond Thunderdome that has been stripped down and reassembled into an unrecognizable machine of fury heading straight for the 1972 Ford Pinto known as my computer as it sits stalled and helpless. And I'm scared of it.

the size of his older brothers with his skill set he'd be rated higher. his rating isn't nearly as important as his offer sheet. UF, PSU, UM, the kid can play

Tate Forcier is going to win five Heismans, and that includes the medical redshirt year when he steps in front of a Black Rhino bullet to save Barack Obama from Michael Richards. Mark it down.

I think it's logical to think Forcier is the more likely candidate to play NEXT YEAR for 2 reasons: 1. He's had much more coaching. 2. Beaver's shoulder could likely prevent him from practicing during the spring, and will certainly hold him out of any upper-body conditioning that he would start in January (he's enrolling early). Forcier will have the benefit of this.
