I know there can be many, many reasons behind a kid transferring but i'm kinda with ya on this. If he transfers and it's because of PT, well that's just dumb. He's got 4 years ahead of him in an offense perfectly suited for his abilities.

Roundtree has a really different skill set and might end up playing more on the outside and I think it's a leap to say he's probably behind Gallon. Even if he were behind Gallon, TRob is only a redshirt freshman. He has plenty of time to improve and get playing time. He should have a conversation with Mark Huyge.

Rick Leach wore 7. Good number. Could become one of those hallowed numbers. FWIW, another great Michigan quarterback shared a number with Tate -- Johnny Wangler. Let's hope Tate doesn't suffer the same knee injury and we're all set.

Lawrence Taylor. I wonder if Michigan players were aware of just how great a player they were up against in that game. What a vicious vicious hit on Wangler. Lawrence Taylor would get my vote for best Defensive Player Ever. Still, we would have won the game if Wangler doesn't get mangled by LT

I have no inside information, but this would not surprise me in the slightest. He's been passed up by Roundtree on the depth chart and has apparently suffered from dropping too many balls. I know this sounds like 20/20 hindsight, but I said at the time of his commitment that it seemed people were excited about him based almost entirely from the "Dream Shake" video. I hope it's not true, and this is the first I've heard of it. But I've wondered a couple times if he might be a guy who would search for greener pastures elsewhere.

As much as I'd like drop some bombs on you for both owning a cat and using one as your icon, I shall refrain. If you seriously consider drawing attention to an auction of Michigan football memorabilia, tickets and other assorted Michigan football related stuff ON A BOARD FOR MICHIGAN FOOTBALL FANS (gee, can't imagine anyone here cares about that) is unworthy........fill in the assumed blank. ...and finally, if you consider drawing attention to said auction WHICH BENEFITS A SCHOLARSHIP FOR UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN STUDENTS WHO HAVE CANCER sucks, then there simply are not enough expletives for me to fire at you.

That's not what I'm saying at all, at all. And I own no cat(just a random pic), I do however have a sweet dog. My problem with you is how you're going about it. You are being really vague, and asking anyone with a blog for their emails. It would be far better for you had you started a thread dedicated to this topic, instead of spamming everyone about it in a supposedly on-topic thread. For what it's worth, (I looked) I think you're charity is a worthy cause for sure. You really should just start a thread, and label it OT. Edit: and, it's a LOLCAT, an MGoStaple

1) so its in my sig line. Those who choose to look may, anyone else can ignore. 1a) How the hell many words can you put in a sig line to describe this! Can't exactly write a paragraph here. 2) Some bloggers have been carrying links to the auction (mvictors, House That Yost Built and TheWolverineBlog et.al) so yes, if they don't post an email on their blogsite, I do ask them for an email to see if they would be willing to run said link. Unless you haven't noticed the economy kind of sucks and getting the word out to as many Michigan fans is sort of necessary under the circumstances. Not much of an auction if no one knows its there. Much like the old "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" adage. 3) Its run by the school. I took classes taught by the professor its named after when I was at Michigan and my sister had cancer while she was a student at Michigan so I know the devastation that it delivers to the person and the family and I'm DAMN proud to do whatever I can to get the word out, negative points or Timmmaaayy comments be damned. 4) I CAN'T start a thread, not enough points. But is a thread really appropriate or is it best to just passively disseminate the info at the end of my posts (once again, in the sig line). FINALLY) Really. REALLY!!!! This of all the many topics on this board is really what you choose to focus on two nights in a row.

Apology accepted and returned in kind. The thread would be greatly appreciated. I still hate cats. My wife had a cat when we got married and the motherf#@%er pissed on my cellphone and destroyed it. I hold that grudge against all cats. I'm going to sleep. 180 year olds get tired pretty easily.

You should not only email the blog authors, but also start a thread now that you have the requisite points. They do great things at Mott and theUM for cancer. I have a business partner and friend who both had children which went to UM, and there is certainly no harm in soliciting funds like this. Good luck, JBA.

I was wondering. With the multiple slot sets we are trying to run, and run with out a huddle. Why would we have a problem trying to get 5 even 6 SR on the field every game. Correct me if I am wrong but having all of these weapons would make it easy to shuffle them on and off and keep them all fresh.

Just like at any other position, when you get down to your 4th, 5th, and 6th options at one position, it's usually somebody who isn't good enough to be on the field. I mean, if you used that theory for cornerbacks, we'd see Adrian Witty or Zach Johnson playing CB. If you used that theory for tackles, we'd see Michael Schofield and Taylor Lewan on the field.

From everything I hear about T-Rob, he's always had trouble catching the ball -- which is, I guess, the purpose of a receiver. I also found it interesting that in response to a question on how the slots were doing, Troy Woolfolk mentinoed Tay Odoms as doing well first, second he mentioned Kelvin Grady, and third "that guy wearing #3 (Gallon)." Interesting whom he did not mention. http://www.annarbor.com/sports/michigan-safety-troy-woolfolk-discusses-…

We post "rumor threads" here (and you've probably done it on 67 other boards) about things we've heard on "other boards"?? Scout is saying "NO." Is that not good enough? And besides, what good does this do? This board is not the "National Enquirer"--and if it were true, I suspect Brian would have it up. It's amazing (YET TRUE!) how people fly off the handle with every lil rumor or bug in the ear and search the galaxy over and over for confirmation or denials. This can't go on if one is to retain any semblance of sanity.

It's amazing (YET TRUE!) how some people fly off the handle about people passing on information that some people have not heard. I think you've already lost your sanity, based solely on you post above. People on the MGoBoard have broken news and posted it on the thread before Brian has. Brian may come along and validate it or shoot it down, certainly, but it has happened before and will happen again. Take an e-chill pill i guess would be the main point of the presentation.

He prob said one little comment and it blows up. I remember all the media drama with Stonum, he is 100% Blue and always will be. I remember talks of him switching to Florida at last second, transfering every few weeks. Everytime he says he never even thought of leaving.
