Deep down, this is something we all suspected. It's John U. Bacon.

Listening to John U. Bacon on the Michigan Insider, I expect him to be 8,000 years old.  Always funny to see him as someone my age. (though he's slightly older and looks younger.)

When it is raining, it is because he is thinking of something sad.

His shirts never wrinkle.

If he were to mail a letter without postage, it would still get there.

The police often question him just because they find him interesting.

His blood smells like cologne.

On every continent in the world, there is a sandwich named after him.

Cuba imports cigars from him.

Mosquitos refuse to bite him purely out of respect.

In museums, he is allowed to touch the art.

His business card simply says “I’ll call you.”

He has won the lifetime achievement award, twice.

If he were to punch you in the face, you would have to fight off the urge to thank him.

He bowls overhand.

He is the most interesting man in the world.....

Apologies in advance if I sound like an MGoCurmudgeon, but maybe I really am one.

But... I heard that, in his classes, John Bacon has students surrender their smartphones at his desk when they come in and pick them back up after class.  This isn't a criticism of him, but I gotta ask... why is that noteworthy?  As in, how isn't that standard practice for both college and secondary school?!?  I mean, I'm as guilty of phone over-use as everyone else, which only further begs the question.

The OP has buried the lead a bit here ... the real gem of this is here:

Short videos of John U Bacon teaching lessons on college football (NOT the most interesting man in the world)

These videos all went live today so hopefully the Friday WTKA segment with JUB will touch on it
