I guess we don't have to worry about him ever taking a job in the NHL.
Congrats to Kampfer, what a thrill.

Annarbor.com also has a story on this, with a brief video. See: Ex-Michigan defenseman Steve Kampfer celebrates with Stanley Cup, honors sister in the process
There's also an annarbor.com slideshow of his visit.

That video, combined with seeing the new scoreboards in full effect, just made me a very happy Kampfer, I mean camper.
Also, why no Red in the video?

Awesome for Steve-I can only imagine this is a dream come true.
No Redd but not suprised to see David "the moth" Brandon near the lights.

Michigan produces another winner! This school, this program, this way of life never ceases to amaze me. Steve Kampfer is another great guy that has not forgotten his roots. His heart is in the right place. He is a success.
His humble ways are so admirable. All you can do is wish him continued success. He deserves it! Go Blue!!!
