Start Feagin on Saturday??

Ok well I might get flamed for this, but why not just start Feagin against OSU? Threet is doubtful, and even if he plays it won't be at 100%. It would be like Henne last year against OSU, except probably worse. Sheridan, even if he plays like he did against Minnesota, isn't really much of a passing threat either. Especially with the pressure OSU is going to put on him. So I think there isn't going to be much chance of a consistent passing attack with either Sheridan or Threet. Now Feagin on the other hand at least presents a running threat, which should make the zone read more effective. OSU may know Michigan is running, but at least they won't know who will have the ball. Yes there is the risk of Feagin fumbling, but at this point I'd rather take my chances with that than Sheridan dropping back to throw against a ferocious pass rush. Or why not have Feagin throw a bomb on the first series? Even if it gets picked off it will be another thing for the Buckeyes to think about. Now I'm not a huge Threet or Sheridan basher by any means, and if Threet was healthy I would say start him. I just think with nothing to lose Michigan might as well try something that Ohio State hasn't seen before. If Michigan can get off to a fast start and force Pryor to have to throw I think they at least have a chance at keeping it close.

Sure, Sheridan has been mostly horrible, but he has looked good at times. I cut him some slack last week given the weather. But for god's sake, man, Feagin to start? Do we just want to concede the game? Feagin CANNOT run this offense. He hasn't even taken that many practice snaps!

If you think Sheridan is certain death, then is there even a word for a true freshman converted slot receiver starting his first game in the Horseshoe? Feagin shouldn't start, and he won't.

Any throwing situation would be certain death with Feagin in the game. Just pray, to what ever God you pray to, that Threet can start Saturday.

Feagin starting is not really an option. However, I do really want to see him attempt a pass. It will probably go for a TD (if OSU is totally fooled) or an interception (if the cornerbacks play their assignment), but its time for the ISQDpsyche pass.

Here's a can of worms to open: START CARLOS BROWN at QB! He's finally healthy, he can RUN, and even I can throw a football 15 feet if I have to. Have him run around, create some plays and throw it away if nothing opens up. With the pathetic QB play we've had this year, I'm willing to try anything. Plus, after our dismal offensive performance against NW, Nikki and Threet should sit on the bench in shame. I'm sure they know they suck, but as a fan, this season has become unbearable. I just wish that our next game wasn't the most important game of the season.

the ConeBone - Cone at qb, Moundrous Brown and Minor in the backfield, Shaw at wideout and Koger at tight end. Imagine the possibilities, OSU will never see it coming. Installing a gimmick offense works wonders, just ask the Great Weis Whale.

Are the QBs even running the zone read option anymore? It seems the only time the QBs ran in the last 2 games if protection broke down or the play was a designed QB-run. Seems like MSU game was last time; did coaches give up this part of offense to simplify things?

Because it's absolutely obvious what we're going to do when he's in the game? There are arms on Fuller Field in the IM league better than his. He can't throw the ball. You know it's going to be some kind of keeper or pitch, which even the stupidest middle school coach in America could defend 100% of the time.
