Seriously, can't wait to see how Tate progresses from this year to next and to how our young defensive backs can play next year.

Recruiting isn't keeping your attention?

You know if we have a chance with 5 star receiver from Pahokee?
December 22nd, 2009 at 10:36 PM ^
How did you get back?
December 22nd, 2009 at 10:54 PM ^
RMAHORN! Nice butt.
If you're talking about Chris Dunkley, Scout indicates he visited West Virginia in September, Georgia in October (the LSU game), Alabama on 11/7, and Florida on 12/12.
I am guessing the kid goes to Florida. But until he signs a piece of paper, anything is possible.

The hidden alter identity of one of the MGoMods? Sigh. Refuse to neg you. (great reverse psych, btw . . . if you want to be negbanged, I won't give you the pleasure.)
December 22nd, 2009 at 11:52 PM ^
Every time this guy gets negged into oblivion he switches his picture to a hot woman so people will be less likely to neg him.

anyone care to tell a poor old noob what that means?
December 23rd, 2009 at 1:45 AM ^
Is part negative vote, part gang bang, and feels a lot this:
Of course, there are always those who are into that sort of thing (R_Mahorn, KOB, etc), but most find it distasteful.

looks like she has nice assets

Recruiting is great and all, but you can't really see the team/players in action. Spring game is the closest thing to fall you can get besides countdown to kickoff on MGOBLUE!
December 22nd, 2009 at 10:16 PM ^
spring game last year, and it was a great time. I will go to every one for the rest of my life. Good atmosphere (hey, let's get more than 50,000 this time!), good play, good tailgaiting, and it's free to get in. No excuses for people who have to travel (I drive 5 hours to get there) because you only have to pay for transportation. Let's get a huge crowd out there to show next year's recruits we support this team no matter what. One guy committed to Michigan last year during the game. He was impressed to say the least... Go Blue!!!

I wanted to go last but couldn't because of work, anyone know what day its on so I can request if off asap. We need to pull together as a fan base and fill the stadium up, 100,000+ for a spring game would be epic.
December 22nd, 2009 at 11:06 PM ^
It's April 17th. I have it on a poster of dates, but that's the only place I've seen it and I got the poster in June...
But it's the MMB poster and they have to be there, so I'm pretty sure it's correct?

Thanks GoBlueFoSho, I appreciate it.

Do they distribute tickets to it or do you really just show up at the gate and claim an available seat?
December 22nd, 2009 at 11:18 PM ^
Show up, sit wherever. Got great experience on where to buy tickets for the season.

until I found out it was the day before easter....and granny was planning on having everyone over. FTL

and i will absolutely be back next year. nine months without michigan ftball is entirely way too long. i shall be watching the defense veryyyyy closely.
December 22nd, 2009 at 10:34 PM ^
last year, we were the 3rd from last people inline for the locker room tours. Talk about lucky. Can't wait to see Tate/Devin/Denard battle it out instead of Tate/Cone/Kennedy
December 22nd, 2009 at 11:06 PM ^
The Coner will be missed.
December 23rd, 2009 at 1:01 PM ^
No definite word yet that Devin will be an EE. If he's not no spring game.
I take my kids every year and they love it. Last year they got about 15 autos each from Leach, Desmond, A Train, DeShawn Sims, Larry Foote. They also got gloves from Kevin Grady and Stonum. Every time I pointed out a recruit they got really excited and you can't beat the price. Great family entertainment at a price all can afford.
December 22nd, 2009 at 10:43 PM ^
We should urge Brian to put together a Mgoblog tailgate for the spring game. I would imagine it would be a little easier to pull off than on an actual game day. I volunteer to print up some Rosenberg Punches Dolphins shirts with all proceeds going to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.

Do the suckeyes hold the spring game attendance record? If so, I say we crush that record this spring. As long as they don't have sections blocked off like last year...

Bammers have it, 92k
December 23rd, 2009 at 12:06 AM ^
I've been to the last two spring games and I had a riot they were fun to be there. Just the atmosphere and being around anything and everything Michigan, it just doesn't get any better than that.
I really hope to see the team's improvement in this year's game and hopefully see the Big House almost full and perhaps the game be televised... but most importantly, the team's improvement.
December 23rd, 2009 at 1:53 AM ^
We've all had our doubts the last couple years. But who cannot be positive about the recruiting effort in the past couple of weeks. We are on the right track people!!
I was just reading Bo's Lasting Lessons chapter 4 - Throw a Bucket of Cold Water; it is going to happen. Rod is like Bo in many ways. It makes you want to suit up in the middle of December.
Go Blue

They did one last year -- I didn't go cuz I'm too cool, but it was probably fun if you're into live-action negbangs
December 24th, 2009 at 2:57 PM ^
Spring games are so much fun! O have gone to the OSU one 3 times now and have mad it a tradition to go every year. Last year, as everybody knows we broke the national attendance record with 95,000 strong checking out the Bucks, The year before we had 75,000 in the pouring rain. we have true fans down in Ohio. The games are great to go to because they have tons of free stuff and it's only $5. It's great to see the young up and coming stars before they burst onto the national scene.

"We have true fans down in Ohio"
I've posted this before...but Ace, this is your crowd.
I'd input something sarcastic but the video is pretty explanatory, I'd say.
