Spring Game

Submitted by TATEisGREATyo on

Too early to start talking about it? Had a blast last year, and really it's the only thing to look forward to for the next 4 months.

RMAHORN! Nice butt.

If you're talking about Chris Dunkley, Scout indicates he visited West Virginia in September, Georgia in October (the LSU game), Alabama on 11/7, and Florida on 12/12.

I am guessing the kid goes to Florida. But until he signs a piece of paper, anything is possible.

Recruiting is great and all, but you can't really see the team/players in action. Spring game is the closest thing to fall you can get besides countdown to kickoff on MGOBLUE!

spring game last year, and it was a great time. I will go to every one for the rest of my life. Good atmosphere (hey, let's get more than 50,000 this time!), good play, good tailgaiting, and it's free to get in. No excuses for people who have to travel (I drive 5 hours to get there) because you only have to pay for transportation. Let's get a huge crowd out there to show next year's recruits we support this team no matter what. One guy committed to Michigan last year during the game. He was impressed to say the least... Go Blue!!!

last year, we were the 3rd from last people inline for the locker room tours. Talk about lucky. Can't wait to see Tate/Devin/Denard battle it out instead of Tate/Cone/Kennedy

No definite word yet that Devin will be an EE. If he's not no spring game.
I take my kids every year and they love it. Last year they got about 15 autos each from Leach, Desmond, A Train, DeShawn Sims, Larry Foote. They also got gloves from Kevin Grady and Stonum. Every time I pointed out a recruit they got really excited and you can't beat the price. Great family entertainment at a price all can afford.

We should urge Brian to put together a Mgoblog tailgate for the spring game. I would imagine it would be a little easier to pull off than on an actual game day. I volunteer to print up some Rosenberg Punches Dolphins shirts with all proceeds going to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.

I've been to the last two spring games and I had a riot they were fun to be there. Just the atmosphere and being around anything and everything Michigan, it just doesn't get any better than that.

I really hope to see the team's improvement in this year's game and hopefully see the Big House almost full and perhaps the game be televised... but most importantly, the team's improvement.

We've all had our doubts the last couple years. But who cannot be positive about the recruiting effort in the past couple of weeks. We are on the right track people!!

I was just reading Bo's Lasting Lessons chapter 4 - Throw a Bucket of Cold Water; it is going to happen. Rod is like Bo in many ways. It makes you want to suit up in the middle of December.

Spring games are so much fun! O have gone to the OSU one 3 times now and have mad it a tradition to go every year. Last year, as everybody knows we broke the national attendance record with 95,000 strong checking out the Bucks, The year before we had 75,000 in the pouring rain. we have true fans down in Ohio. The games are great to go to because they have tons of free stuff and it's only $5. It's great to see the young up and coming stars before they burst onto the national scene.
