Izzo working the refs is paying off
January 12th, 2020 at 12:51 PM ^
He’s actually been relatively calm this game. Surprising. Fun to watch the Spartans sputter.
January 12th, 2020 at 12:54 PM ^
I can see MSU coming back to win this game. They often have weird monster come backs on the road.
January 12th, 2020 at 1:50 PM ^
Is it ok to say it now that they are down by 26?
January 12th, 2020 at 12:54 PM ^
This league is going to have at least 5 teams with a 10-10 record. Season-long rock fight.
January 12th, 2020 at 12:54 PM ^
I thought about starting this when they were down 22 but I didn't want to be the person responsible for the jinx
January 12th, 2020 at 12:55 PM ^
WTF??!! Thanks for the jinx. I am sure an epic comeback by MSU will happen in the second half.
January 12th, 2020 at 12:56 PM ^
Purdue has to stop jacking quick threes. They have an advantage down low that they need to keep pressing
January 12th, 2020 at 12:58 PM ^
Winston with 5 turnovers and shot 0-4 from 3 in the first half. Hopefully whatever Purdue did to him is replicable.
January 12th, 2020 at 1:07 PM ^
Yeah it’s replicable, play MSU at home. Purdue is also playing way better than they actually are.
January 12th, 2020 at 12:59 PM ^
Are you dense? You don't post this until they lose.
January 12th, 2020 at 12:59 PM ^
I'm so glad that all of college basketball's most important games are on neutral floors. It's a little TOO hard to win on the road, especially in the Big Ten. Things would be more interesting if teams won less at home.
January 12th, 2020 at 1:10 PM ^
I would have bet money on the opposite happening
January 12th, 2020 at 1:12 PM ^
If you jinx this people are coming for you. Not saying which people, let it be surprise. Then you can wonder--o, is it all of these fat guys in Santa suits? Or, not ANOTHER Blues Brothers revival!
January 12th, 2020 at 1:17 PM ^
Lead down to 12. Staee will win this. Fuck it all.
January 12th, 2020 at 1:40 PM ^
buck up, buckaroo. 16 pt lead with 7:49 left. sure, sparty might come back, but its not all doom and gloom.
EDIT: now 20 pts with 6:58

People never learn

Posting threads doesn't cause jinxes. If you live your life grasping to superstitious beliefs you won't love your life.

The Boilermakers are making Sparty their bitch!
January 12th, 2020 at 1:56 PM ^
They're down 29 now.
Not sure why this is negged. Shows just how tough the road is in the B1G. Cassius looks human today. He's been Wooden-winner level the last month.
January 12th, 2020 at 1:57 PM ^
Winston could bounce the ball off his dick and it goes in against us. This game he's running around in clown shoes and can't get out of his own way.
January 12th, 2020 at 8:10 PM ^
Learned from LeBron?
January 12th, 2020 at 2:00 PM ^
Sparty finally leaving the comfy confines of the Breslin Center and playing a team with a pulse.
January 12th, 2020 at 2:06 PM ^
Here comes the second half foul disparity deficit
January 12th, 2020 at 2:08 PM ^
Probably burning couches in east landfill...as soon as they get done delivering pizzas!! ???
January 12th, 2020 at 2:10 PM ^
Glad this thread did not turn into a hex. It would have looked stupid if izzo pulled something out of his bag of tricks.
January 12th, 2020 at 2:20 PM ^
Kept it within 30.
January 12th, 2020 at 2:38 PM ^
That’s big ten basketball for you this year. The conference is going to absolutely clobber itself by the time it gets to March.
But by the same token, don’t be surprised if we get to the tournament and there’s 4-6 Big Ten teams in the Sweet 16.
January 12th, 2020 at 8:12 PM ^
I predict at least 5 B1G teams in the Final Four.
(Don’t make me /s, dammit!)

"Michigan State suffered its worst loss ever as a top-10 team. The Spartans, who entered Sunday as the Big Ten's only undefeated team, had never lost as a top-10 team by more than 22 points before, according to ESPN Stats & Information."
