"source" list

I would love to compile a list of people with "sources" whether famous or otherwise that claimed they knew what was going to happen so that when a decision is finally announced it can be remembered who knew what they were talking about and who did not. This way they can be held accountable and it will be useful for knowing who to listen to next time we are looking for a coach (20 years down the road that is). So please list anyone who has made one or more definitive statements about this and what they said.

I like Chris Balas over at rivals.

Most of the posters on the rivals message boards are wackos, but the staffers like Balas are getting sources and are realistic. He's been totally balanced, actually called cowherd a troll (snaps to you, Balas) and has been giving a general RELAX tone. He likes what Hackett is doing in not rushing things just to fill the vacancy...and is assuring everyone that the athletic Department are looking at all options so we aren't left with our pants down jacking it in San Diego if Harbaugh doesn't come.

Maybe I'm ignorant to Chris Balas' history, but I keep looking for his input in this process.

 a friend of a friend who knows the recently retired long-time football equipment mgr, indicated that harbaugh asked that equip mgt to take the same position in SF.  equip mgr declined indicating kids and/or grand kids in ann arbor area.  harbaugh told equip mgr that he would take UM job if asked.  i heard this tidbit almost two months ago though.

It's horse shit information used to sell other shit. That's it. Harbaugh isn't coming until there is legitimate and substantiated info that he is. Everything else, and I mean everything else, is some idiot sprinkling tea leaves upon horse dug, smiling and dancing. We are better off ignoring it. Now go out there and enjoy your Sunday.
