Somewhat OT: Minnesota FB Coach Tim Brewster = Colossal Liar
Have a look at this article about Coach Brewster's new blog page, and how he claimed he amassed a career record of 113-61-1, presumably including Mack Brown's win totals at Texas:

Honestly, we all complain about Rich Rod and the recruits he goes after. Brewster makes fun of the local media, has no coaching ability, is being given a new stadium as a recruiting tool, and outright lied about his coaching record.
And, he spelled Mack Brown and Chris Simms's names wrong on his blog. Now that is respect.
to give a shout out to Black Heart Gold Pants?
Saying that Brewster has no coaching ability is quite an overstatement.
He is the coach of probably the only FBS school that will ever lose to starting QB Nick Sheridan. All the Mack Browns in the world can't hide that.
...Shout out to Black Heart Gold Pants!!!
I'm a Gopher alum, we're still cleaning up the Metrodome bathrooms after Iowa's visit.
And, frankly, we're still cleaning up the Metrodome field with stomped-over Gophers, from Iowa's visit.
What I can't believe is how he misspelled Brown and Simms yet correctly spelled Schottenheimer. That takes talent!
"Honestly, we all complain about Rich Rod and the recruits he goes after."
Speak for yourself.
I think there's quite a bit to praise him for, from a total program standpoint.
we = many of you.
I don't complain about his recruiting, at all.
I have a hard time believing that Brewster is dumb enough to have done this himself. I was going to say that it has to be the handiwork of some junior grad assistant who had just been fired, but the blog entry appears to have been written by an earnest but not-very-talented 9th-grader. I can't imagine that 9th-graders are on the Minny staff, but you never know.
That Brewster blog reads like a vandalized Wikipedia article. It's so blantantly bad with the record and the misspellings, you almost have to suspect mischief on the part of someone there.
