Someone Sick of All the Griffin-bashing?

Posted by "anonymous," I guess this someone is tired of the OU bashing? Whatcha guys think? "You don't even know the Griffin's, yet you call them heinous names? They are true gentlemen, unlike YOU. Tony Crocker has special permission from the NCAA to wear the long sleeves because he has a serious heriditary disease which results in poor circultion. He HAS to wear it. Are you seriously going to pick on poor little Austin Johnson's HAIR. And then, the lowest of the low, you pick on somebody's Mother?? Is it her fault the TV camera's show her? Would she be a better person if she spent thousands of dollars on her hair? You are one sick dude and I've know John Beilein since he coached at Erie County Community College. I could rag on him for his HAIR and a lot of other things, but I am not a total loser like you. What do you think every Michigan player is model material? I can guarantee you one thing, KARMA SUCKS and you will regret your sick, vacuous and twisted remarks." Guess I'm the only one who thinks the Griffins' mom needs a new hairdo?

No point denying it folks, if he played for M we would be all over his nuts. Well not as much as the announcers last night, but still...

My problem with Griffin is that he seemed to do a lot flexing after he scored. It's not uncommon, but it still gets under my skin when a guy overpowers someone fifty pounds lights and makes a three foot bank shot and then acts like he did something truly spectacular--against freshmen, walk-ons and bench players. He also did his share of jawing throughout the game. He beat us. Wish we had someone with his skills. But I went into the game with a generally positive impression of the guy and ended the game thinking he was kind of a tool.

The flexing was pathetic and sickening. His coach should have slapped him in the bloody face for that. I can't believe that he would do that on national TV. Highly juvenile. It reminds me of douche frat fucks flexing their insignificant tris in mirrors at the IM. Then putting on tight t-shirts and a Livestrong bracelet to wear to Rick's or Skeepers.

If you're looking for objectivity, try Fox News. This is a MICHIGAN blog and I don't think it's out of line to expect a little bit of bias.

for rebounds. I thought at one point I heard the announcers make a comment about him not liking the physical part of the game which seemed to ring true. He does seem to be good at shooting over people from 3 feet or shouldering them out of the way when he has the ball. But I didn't think he played all that strong compared to a lot of NBA guys. To really be a great NBA player he should work on his short range jumper.

half you hypocritical wankers would be massaging his balls if he were on our team. i'm sure you took the same self-righteous stance while watching the fab five rip through their tournaments as well. the flexing wasn't pathetic and sickening, either. nearly every time he scored he ran down the court to play defense, but even then you were probably bitching about what a prick he was for dunking. "if he had any class he would have just laid it up." then michigan cut the lead down to five and griffen responded with a few tough shots. omg, he demonstrated some theatrics after making a shot and having a foul called! i've never seen that before. and keep wishing he turns into an oden. his legs are of equal height, and he's going to dominate.

when cheering for Chris Webber at UM I always thought that to be a great NBA player he was going to need a jump shot. His body and jumping ability just wasn't that rare an NBA commodity. At the height of his career he got to the NBA finals playing what was basically Point Forward, and why was he able to do that? He had developed a jump shot.
