So TomVH, what's your day going to be like tomorrow??

So it's February 2nd, and I can't help but imagine the kind of schedule that our own recruiting analyst is going to endure for the sake of all us Michigan Men. Are there lots of preliminary phone calls scheduled, or will it be more random depending on the day's events? Are you working any other job or are you going to be glued to the phone?? Are you going to have an IV put in now so you won't have to worry about dehydration or fluids? I envision you waking at like 3 in the morning behind some massive information center not unlike the BatCave, and only stopping for seconds at a time to consume the most hastily prepared lunch on earth or perhaps to pee in a bottle under the desk. There'll be separate workstations for Flight Tracker and GPS locations of Denard and Witty, and a special webcam implanted in Jeremy Gallon's eyebrows. And of course, Ricardo Miller will be standing behind you the entire time with a mask around his eyes and a cape. And yet, in a very Mel Kiper-ish way, Tom's hair will never fall out of place over the course of the day. Not once. Just curious, because I'm sure at least once tomorrow I'll be learning something important directly from you. I'm sure you'll be a busy man, Tom, and if I don't get a chance to thank you at the end of the day, I'll offer my gratitude now.

OK I know signing day is two days off but lets not get crazy with the extra 1-3 kids that'll be tacked onto the class. We already have a very good recruiting class now. I believe people are putting way too much into the difference between being ranked 8th overall or 6th or whatever. The team ranked 28th could have as many good recruits turn out as one ranked near 10th. Lets not forget that this class was put together after a 3-9 season at a school where about half its visitors had to bear snow and sub freezing temperatures.

Tom VH, what do you smell like? I can only imagine roses, because in my dreams you walk around in a grassy meadow picking the petals off of roses saying "Denard will pick us! Denard will not... Denard will pick us! Denard will not..."
