As a Giants fan I just want to say I am rapidly reaching the point where draft position will be becoming my priority this season. I also pray from Pat Shurmer's firing even though I think he'll get another year. I want the team to go after Matt Rhule.

I just don't get emotionally invested in Pro sports like I do with M football...maybe due to the Loins sucking for a half century. Even if the Loins became worldbeaters not sure I would live and die with them.

One of the biggest cliche myths in sports is that “balls” or “grit” or “want to” or whatever the fuck you want to call it is more important than physical talent and smart coaching.
Michigan didn’t lose all those Rose Bowls to the PAC 10 under Bo because our balls were too small. We lost because our opponents were better. When we had equal or better talent and did a good job taking advantage of it, we won.

This one is hard to predict. Lions have blown their initial lead earlier than usual. In this scenario, they will sometimes get re-energized in the second half and build a lead again only to lose it in the end. I'm guessing it will be a crazy mistake filled finish.
