Semi-OT: NPR Piece on Robert Anderson with Chuck Christian

When this came on this morning during my commute, admittedly my first reaction was "I really don't need to be bombarded with this again."
But after listening to the interview, Chuck Christian is a straight-up hero. And we need to talk about this even more than we do, because that's how we convince Michigan to make the changes that are needed to ensure it never happens again.

Fully agree with this sentiment. I can't imagine the mental and physical horror of enduring what he or any assault victims experienced, holding it close to the vest for so many years, then finally opening up the vault publicly. The other heroes are family, friends, and professionals who have supported the victims through what have been some incredibly difficult times.
It's an awful situation that will be made worse if a collective amnesia arises after the headlines recede.

And then when the player went to see Bo, Bo said, Dr. Anderson said that you didn't let him finish the physical, and he's like, yeah, he was trying to do this to me. He said, quit being a wimp, and get - go over there, and get it done. And then he went ahead and got it done, and then he was able to practice again.

What a horrible horrible response from Bo to one of his players. I was so disgusted when I read this. The university should never mention his name again.
