Seeking some CFP gear I saw...

I saw something similar in Houston at the CFP shop at FanFest. The line was insanely long, so I was going to look for it at the stadium, but by the time I got in to the game, most UM gear was gone.  I've been searching online, (again, assumed it would be easy to find), with no luck. 

Anyone come across the blue 1/4 zip Antiqua pullover, that has The CFP logo, National Championship - Houston 2024, WITH the Block M?  Similar to this, but again, with the Block M.  Anyone?  Point me the direction so I can spend my money.

Ha. I did the exact same thing you did. I saw it hanging at the gift shop on the club level but the line was insanely long and I just figured I'd find it later. I still haven't. I think this may be what you are talking about (and what I saw at the gift shop) - but no way am I paying anywhere near the amount this selling is asking for on ebay ($450!).

Nice design and all, but that just says “hey!  I went to this sportsball game!!”

IMHO, I would need a Michigan logo somewhere on the shirt.  Maybe just below what’s there to keep it somewhat simple.

That’s… specifically what the OP is saying — “help me find the version of this with a Michigan logo.”

I agree, I’m not wasting money on any memorabilia that just advertises the Playoff. :)

As an aside — for bargain hunters, I suspect that leftover inventory will be available in a couple of months at deeply discounted prices, albeit with the size selection being “whatever nobody else wanted.”  There’s definitely a “first championship in 26 years excitement” premium being built into these prices.  For me, I’ll buy those which I decide i really “must” have now, but I’ll keep my eyes open for better deals later on anything I’m not gung ho about.  (How many similar shirts will I wear? :) )

I'm sure you can find it. I actually bought (and received) the same Antigua navy pullover yesterday, but for the Rose Bowl. I was at the Rose Bowl, plus I love the iconic Rose Bowl embroidered emblem along with the classic Michigan block M. I didn't make Houston, and it just doesn't mean as much to me as Houston. I'm sure I'll get something for the National Championship, but I also wanted something for the Rose Bowl game, memories and all.

Exactly. Great looking, ridiculously pricey.

Back in 92 - 93, I did my student internship less than 9 miles away from the Rose Bowl, and went to the game. About a week later, I was able to absolutely clean up on Michigan gear, especially the pricey stuff. There was a "closeout" store in Pasadena, and once all the fans left LA, they had tons of merch yet to sell. This year, I called the Rose Bowl office the day after the game, looking to see if there still was a closeout store location. No such luck. With the internet now, they can continue to gouge you for full price.

C'est la vie. I bit the bullet, because I liked it enough, and saved enough in going to the game.

EDIT:  I will say that this pullover looks VERY nice. The sewn / embroidered stuff definitely is nicer than a screen print. It has the NC football, the Block M, but also the proprietary Rose Bowl logo. The fabric looks great, and I prefer a non-hoodie, and don't need or want hand pockets. It is a pretty dark Navy that pops with the logos. My only question will be how it wears, and how it looks after several washes. Also, this kind of fabric looks like it could snag, so I'll have to be careful about that. But it does look good now.

Ridiculously pricey.  And I still bought one.  Told my wife I felt weird spending so much money, told her the price, and she said "that's just the price of a Lululemon top".

That did make me feel better about it.  Also, it looks and feels very nice, so would recommend to anyone that's on the fence about it.

I purchased a National Championship hat from Fanatics. Says National Champions in bright maize stitching with the world famous winged helmet also. Thought the official hat the players were wearing on the field was kinda plain looking. Dick's here in Michigan has all the gear 30 percent off if you're interested.

I’m not seeing that one as an option. Only the generic national champion logo. Sorry man!

PS. I get it, I’m picky about how things like that look sometimes too. When you’re spending, $100 you want what you want. Good luck! 👍🏻

They used to have it on the CFP official shop but I think they ran out by the Saturday of FanFest. I picked one up at FanFest Saturday later afternoon but they were already starting to run out of sizes in the Michigan specific one and they removed it from the site so I'm guessing they won't be making more inventory.

I saw this sell out 3 people in front of me in of the never-ending Houston fan event lines.  (My goodness we fans consumed a lot of things in Houston--merch was gone, one of the BBQ restaurants I went to was even sold out of meat by noon because "we didn't expect y'all wearing blue today").

Anyway, I became kind of semi-obsessed with this particular logo lock-up and continue to scour the internet with no luck.  I even sent a note to Antigua to check on it and haven't heard back.  If anyone sees any re-stocking on this item (the full zip jacket or the 1/4 zip), please let us know!  I feel like I'm running a little cottage industry of CFP merch acquisition since I couldn't get any of it at the game itself :)
