Kicking off on CBS. Mute Gary Danielson now, thank me later.

To whom does it mean more?

Lucky start for LSU, Georgia missed opportunities and Burrow catches a deflection for a first down.  Georgia can’t rush 3 guys anymore, obv

Touchdown LSU!

I'm really rooting to avoid seeing two SEC teams in the playoff.

How do we really know whether Georgia or Oklahoma is better?  We don't.

I go back to 2014 when Alabama, Ole Miss, and Mississippi state had all taken turns occupying #1 during the season. With Auburn and LSU adding to the perceived might of the SEC West, it was deemed an NFL-lite division by many.

How did those five teams do in their bowl games?  They ALL lost.

If Georgia loses, it has had its shot.  Time to give now conference champion Oklahoma a chance.

Based on what I’ve seen today, I don’t think Michigan would be outclassed by Baylor, Oklahoma or Georgia. That being said, I really don’t want to see a bowl game matchup with Alabama.

Now LSU has to keep the pedal to the floor to overtake OSU for the top spot.  Much rather see OSU face Clemson in the 1st round.   Hopefully Wisky can avoid a large blowout to help out this scenario.

Been out all day.  Apparently Baylor went down.

I would like our chances against Georgia.  Certainly more than Bama

Meanwhile, 4-4 Wisconsin, who came into today on a 3-game losing streak (Richmond, New Mexico, and NC State), is beating 8-0 Indiana by 20 and Illinois is beating #3 Maryland by 8 halfway through the first half.

Update: Illinois is now up 14 at halftime.

Burrow is the best overall college QB I have seen.  The combination of decision making, reading the defense, pre-snap recognition, accuracy, elusiveness in the pocket and running ability are elite.

I never saw Mahomes play in college, but Burrow looks better than DeShawn Watson, Drew Brees, Aaron Rogers, and Russell Wilson looked in college.

I know I'm not supposed to - because SEC - but I always liked LSU.

And when they beat Ohio State for the NC with Les Miles in the 2007 season, the narrative was endless that "Michigan Man" Les Miles beat Ohio State.

I hope they win the NC.

Plus it shows our own coaches - if they even have any doubts anymore - what an emphasis on offense can do for a team.
