Based on how the coaches talked to the sideline trim before the game, I'd say LSU has the clear advantage. Kirby seemed tight as hell.
December 7th, 2019 at 4:26 PM ^
Holy Shit.
Kirby may want to reevaluate his strategy here.
December 7th, 2019 at 4:27 PM ^
LSU is going to win it all.
December 7th, 2019 at 4:29 PM ^
So we want UGA to win right? Helps us avoid Alabama in a bowl game.
December 7th, 2019 at 4:40 PM ^
I’d love to see M play Alabama. They have given up a ton of points to quality offenses over the last two years. That would be a big winnable game and a good way to go into 2020.
December 7th, 2019 at 6:46 PM ^
Michigan should want no part of Alabama.
December 7th, 2019 at 6:59 PM ^
This year’s version of Alabama in a bowl game they really don’t want to be in isn’t all that scary.
December 7th, 2019 at 4:31 PM ^
Lucky start for LSU, Georgia missed opportunities and Burrow catches a deflection for a first down. Georgia can’t rush 3 guys anymore, obv
December 7th, 2019 at 4:36 PM ^
Fields is so much better than Fromm.
December 7th, 2019 at 7:18 PM ^
So Kirby had Fromm, Fields and Eason. He picked Fromm, who turned out to be the worst of the bunch.
Kirby is overrated as a coach in so many ways.
December 7th, 2019 at 4:37 PM ^
Georgia kicking themselves in the foot over racist comments provoking Fields to leave for OSU...

December 7th, 2019 at 4:37 PM ^
Touchdown LSU!
I'm really rooting to avoid seeing two SEC teams in the playoff.
How do we really know whether Georgia or Oklahoma is better? We don't.
I go back to 2014 when Alabama, Ole Miss, and Mississippi state had all taken turns occupying #1 during the season. With Auburn and LSU adding to the perceived might of the SEC West, it was deemed an NFL-lite division by many.
How did those five teams do in their bowl games? They ALL lost.
If Georgia loses, it has had its shot. Time to give now conference champion Oklahoma a chance.
December 7th, 2019 at 4:56 PM ^
Based on what I’ve seen today, I don’t think Michigan would be outclassed by Baylor, Oklahoma or Georgia. That being said, I really don’t want to see a bowl game matchup with Alabama.
December 7th, 2019 at 4:56 PM ^
Georgia is going to get blown out.
December 7th, 2019 at 4:57 PM ^
Burrow reminds me of a young Tom Brady
December 7th, 2019 at 5:00 PM ^
It's gonna be The Guy Who Transferred Into Ohio State vs. The Guy Who Transferred Out of Ohio State for all the marbles, isn't it?
Just. Shoot. Me.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:09 PM ^
As long as OSU doesn't win it all...
They're gonna win it all aren't they...
December 7th, 2019 at 5:11 PM ^
Yeah...
I don't see a real reason at the moment why they wouldn't.
Maybe I should place a large monetary bet on OSU to win it all. That way, they'd be guaranteed to lose.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:00 PM ^
I am sure this is exactly as Kirby Smart has imagined this....
December 7th, 2019 at 5:02 PM ^
Georgia clearly blew it by going with Fromm over Fields.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:03 PM ^
Now LSU has to keep the pedal to the floor to overtake OSU for the top spot. Much rather see OSU face Clemson in the 1st round. Hopefully Wisky can avoid a large blowout to help out this scenario.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:06 PM ^
I want an LSU blowout so they get the 1 seed and play Oklahoma. Really want OSU to need to play both Clemson and LSU in the playoff.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:19 PM ^
Ohio will not get passed up, even if LSU wins by 28, and the Buckeyes win by 10. The fix is in, Swinney is right. Clemson would be better off the #4 seed.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:15 PM ^
LSU has Beef on the defensive line.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:18 PM ^
Big break for Georgia on that drop.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:27 PM ^
That blows for Georgia.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:27 PM ^
Been out all day. Apparently Baylor went down.
I would like our chances against Georgia. Certainly more than Bama
December 7th, 2019 at 5:30 PM ^
Fromm is a sissy if he don't go back in the game. Tape the ankle, he's fine.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:34 PM ^
Fields would not have enjoyed that sack either?
December 7th, 2019 at 5:31 PM ^
Meanwhile, 4-4 Wisconsin, who came into today on a 3-game losing streak (Richmond, New Mexico, and NC State), is beating 8-0 Indiana by 20 and Illinois is beating #3 Maryland by 8 halfway through the first half.
Update: Illinois is now up 14 at halftime.

December 7th, 2019 at 5:34 PM ^
LSU was going to win anyway but I can’t believe how fast Georgia players are dropping like flies. This is a lot of consecutive bad luck for those guys.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:34 PM ^
Georgia loses 3X per year if they play in in B1G East. Not impressed. Losing to the 'Cocks at home?? C'mon man
December 7th, 2019 at 5:37 PM ^
That was a Heisman moment for Burrow.
LSU - OSU will be a good game for the NC.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:45 PM ^
Burrow is the best overall college QB I have seen. The combination of decision making, reading the defense, pre-snap recognition, accuracy, elusiveness in the pocket and running ability are elite.
I never saw Mahomes play in college, but Burrow looks better than DeShawn Watson, Drew Brees, Aaron Rogers, and Russell Wilson looked in college.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:46 PM ^
Fromm threw that last pass like a sissy in the Dr Pepper halftime football toss
December 7th, 2019 at 5:47 PM ^
Georgia already going to the fake injury routine to stop the clock.
December 7th, 2019 at 5:49 PM ^
I know I'm not supposed to - because SEC - but I always liked LSU.
And when they beat Ohio State for the NC with Les Miles in the 2007 season, the narrative was endless that "Michigan Man" Les Miles beat Ohio State.
I hope they win the NC.
Plus it shows our own coaches - if they even have any doubts anymore - what an emphasis on offense can do for a team.
December 7th, 2019 at 6:33 PM ^
Les had his chance to coach UM. Could have been special if he were in his prime.
December 7th, 2019 at 6:39 PM ^
Mistakes cost us at least 8 points on offense, Moving the ball well enough to score 35 on that OSU defense wasn't the problem.
December 7th, 2019 at 6:18 PM ^
It means the most to Oklahoma, I'm guessing, or whichever team it is that will get in instead of Georgia.
December 7th, 2019 at 6:29 PM ^
no seconds off the clock and there is a targeting ejection??
December 7th, 2019 at 6:31 PM ^
Every play there is a Georgia injury.
December 7th, 2019 at 6:41 PM ^
These LSU skill players look like they are on a completely different level than ours.
December 7th, 2019 at 6:47 PM ^
The announcer said that LSU doesn't believe that they can't run the ball against Georgia so they don't.
What does UM do in the same situation?
December 7th, 2019 at 6:52 PM ^
What did we do against MSU?
December 7th, 2019 at 7:26 PM ^
and OSU
