Sauce Castillo to Spice it up in Spain
Looks like Nik Stauskas has left the NBA and has joined a team in northern Spain. Not sure if ultimately he will want to get back to the league, but definitely a change of scenery. Mucha Suerte, Nik!
Maybe he can get it together over seas and make a shit ton of money like Jimmer did
He has already made a ton of money. Stauskas has $14.5 million in career earnings at the age of 25. I think it is possible that Stauskas has already earned more than Fredette in his career. Hopefully he can make make his way back to the NBA, but either way I think he is going to be fine.
Sauce is a journeyman. If they are giving him about the same money he would make in the states plus more PT...then it's a good move. I don't think it's smart to stay in the states and not play for essentially the same money.

It depends on his goals. If it's only about money then one could argue that it would be better to play in the NBA with less PT because the chance of injury would go down.
He's already made a lot of money...well over $10 million - not too shabby for a 25 year old. And if he has some success in Spain he'll be back on an NBA roster at some point.
The Vitorian club adds dynamite to its outdoor game with the incorporation of the Canadian escort...
LOL Google translate.
Good luck to Nik. Maybe he can find some new flavors over there for his Sauce Castillo line.
Also...
"Trained at the University of Michigan."
Good luck to Nic. Vitoria-Gasteiz is a nice town. Basque country.

Such an important comment it had to be made twice....
Typically, Spaniards don't like spicy food. I wouldn't suggest anyone try to hawk hot sauce there.
I imagine that NBA roster management is more complex than I can imagine. I would have thought some time in Cleveland might be in order. Or does Beilein already have enough players like Nik?
