It must really be windy out there - you do get a sense that throwing into the wind is killing some of these balls.

you can blame the wind on that Chappell int, that was a duck from the release
October 31st, 2009 at 3:02 PM ^
Did you see it curve in the air on the replay? It made it look like the wind was 30MPH
October 31st, 2009 at 3:07 PM ^
I meant more that that's not strictly on the wind, as Bob Davie would have you believe. I would argue that the wind exacerbated what was a terribly thrown spiral.

IU needs to find some D, and quick. Hold the Hawks to a FG.
Edit: TD Iowa. Hawks up by 10. It's over.

It was fun while it lasted...

Bob Davie is such an idiot - he is knocking Iowa for winning games ugly. Here are some scores for the #1 team in America, Florida.
23-13 over UT - and ugly game where both teams played "tough" D and the offenses just crapped the bed.
13-3 over LSU - and that was a really ugly game.
23-20 over Arkansas
29-19 over Miss St. - with Tebow lobbing ducks everywhere.
My point is that a win is a win. Iowa has beaten everyone they faced this year, and the defense has been NC-caliber. I guess I just hate Davie and his mindless chatter.

As much as I hate the double standard as well, UT, LSU, and Arkansas would throttle Michigan, MSU, and Indiana.
October 31st, 2009 at 3:16 PM ^
I'll give you that LSU is better than any of the three listed teams. But UT and Arkansas are mediocre teams in any conference.

sometimes a team may not play their best, yet still find a way to pull out the win. I thought that coaching at ND would have ingrained this theory in his head.

Tebow and the Gator O has looked average at best.
Well at least when they are not playing the little sisters of the poor.

to Auburn. Play is under review. I haven't seen a game this ugly since I visited my cousin at fat camp, and an impromptu game of strip poker broke out.

you must not get the nc state-fsu game - its like watching a trainwreck in front of a half-full (half-empty) stadium...

anyone have thoughts on the MSU - Minn game tonight? first night game at the new minn stadium...?

No wonder Iowa is winning. Jesus is in the stands

Oh wait....
(Slitting wrist with fake plastic knife and pouring movie blood everywhere.) HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

42-24 Iowa. I know the story will be Stanzi's bad 3rd quarter, but this Iowa defense kept this game close virtually all day. That is a NC-caliber defense.

Nice 4Q Hoosiers.
It has become a easy win for Iowa. WOW!
