If you think about it, they kind of match up well with Sparty. If Brian's analysis that they are not very good against the pass on standard downs holds true (I think they were 77th or something when they played us) that should be a good opportunity for Haskins to track up some yards. Sparty is likely to stonewall their run game so their biggest hope on defense is probably going all out to rush the passer. We'll see.

Like the Tennessee play .  A lot of public money has been on Kentucky and the line hasn’t moved too much , which should indicate a smart play on Tennessee.   Hope we are both right on Ga Tech.  Richt has a lot of experience defending the triple option. But on the other hand ,  fading Miami always seems like a good play these days

MSU upset because I want the conference championship for the seniors.

Any advantage going into The Game.

Other stuff, national stage can sort itself out later.

100% agree. I just want to feel the security of knowing the conf champ game is in the bag and division is closed for business when we go into The Game.

Definitely want the playoffs, but if the committee is going to get so fickle as to drop us because osu lost a 2nd game, well...this is all just an exercise in futility then.

This is what I'm on:

Illinois beating +17.5

OK St beating +20

Alabama covering -24

USF beating +13.5

ND covering -17.5

WVU covering -12

Michigan/Rutgers over 47.5

Buckeyes are 3-6 against the betting line. They haven't covered since September. Tomorrow's weather will make passing difficult. Ohio State struggles to run, and MSU has a top run defense. Take MSU straight up.

Here's what I'm thinking:

Michigan -38 (small bet; did anyone notice the OU is 48?  LOL.  Vegas thinks we're gonna play at a snail's pace and Rutger won't score.)

BC +19

VaTech +3

OSU -4

Northwestern +10

LSU -12

Miss St +24

Florida -6.5

Illinois-Nebraska under 69

And call me absurd but I think FSU wins at ND.

FSU looks to be getting worse and not better. Taggart has his hands full this year. I don't care how good Clemson is, if you are FSU, you have enough talent to not let Clemson hang over 50 on you. That score says more about FSU players than the coaching staff.  Florida State has had 2 or 3 top 5 recruiting classes in the last 4 years.  I think their worst showing in recruiting was 11th in last 4 years. The talent is there. In short, they have recruited better than Michigan.

In nasty cold weather, with a FSU team that has not bought in, I see ND winning like 34 to 7.

Non-thread worthy question. With Dylan out, what is the likelihood we might need Milton the next three to six games?  If we need him, then do we just not play our number two fullback, Wagner?  I know this is entirely unlikely but why have two number 3s both of offense?
