Hoosiers at home giving a point. C'mon now - that is stealing.
No wonder the Vegas bookies lost so much last weekend!
November 9th, 2018 at 8:52 PM ^
I like both MSU and Northwestern and the points. I also like Alabama-23.5 vs Miss St
November 9th, 2018 at 8:59 PM ^
Dude - Northwestern on the road against a pissed Iowa team, w the Children's Hospital looking in? Man...
November 9th, 2018 at 9:10 PM ^
Low scoring. They lose by 6.
November 9th, 2018 at 8:57 PM ^
I have this bad feeling that Oiho State is going to annoyingly go off for like 50 points tomorrow
November 9th, 2018 at 9:03 PM ^
I can see that happening too, but then again if they can't get things going against Nebraska with two weeks to prepare after coming off a humiliating loss maybe it's just not going to happen for them this year.
November 9th, 2018 at 9:07 PM ^
I kinda see this coming too. Hope not though.
November 9th, 2018 at 9:16 PM ^
I am pulling for MSU to lose. I like the easier path to the Big Ten Championship and I also like an imploded dejected OSU team for our final game. We won’t lack focus regardless.
But damn watching Sparty get blown out gives me a chubby.
November 9th, 2018 at 9:31 PM ^
If you think about it, they kind of match up well with Sparty. If Brian's analysis that they are not very good against the pass on standard downs holds true (I think they were 77th or something when they played us) that should be a good opportunity for Haskins to track up some yards. Sparty is likely to stonewall their run game so their biggest hope on defense is probably going all out to rush the passer. We'll see.
November 9th, 2018 at 10:34 PM ^
To oversimplify it: Sparty has good run defense and bad pass defense. Bucks have no run offense but a good pass offense. So they should be able to move the ball. Can Sparty’s offense trade blows? Don’t think so.
November 9th, 2018 at 10:46 PM ^
Unless the weather makes passing more difficult than running. Then it will be interesting. Looks like snow tomorrow so we'll see.
November 9th, 2018 at 11:21 PM ^
So once again the weather gods will gift Sparty with a W? I wouldn’t hate it...
November 9th, 2018 at 11:28 PM ^
i believe theyre expecting 20+ mph winds in east lansing around game time. NCAA and the feds need to investigate where dantonio is hiding his weather generator
November 9th, 2018 at 9:10 PM ^
I can see where Dongtonio would lose just to spite us.
November 9th, 2018 at 8:59 PM ^
Purdue -10.5
Tennessee +5.5
Bama/Miss St under 53
GT -3
Arkansas +12.5
November 9th, 2018 at 9:11 PM ^
Like the Tennessee play . A lot of public money has been on Kentucky and the line hasn’t moved too much , which should indicate a smart play on Tennessee. Hope we are both right on Ga Tech. Richt has a lot of experience defending the triple option. But on the other hand , fading Miami always seems like a good play these days
November 9th, 2018 at 9:17 PM ^
Also thinking about taking Texas Tech to hedge my Texas over 8.5 wins bet that seems to be slipping away
November 9th, 2018 at 9:50 PM ^
The first rule of college football betting is you never bet the under!
November 9th, 2018 at 10:45 PM ^
Haha you sound like Big Cat from Barstool!
November 9th, 2018 at 9:11 PM ^
Michigan, Clemson and Alabama. Except for Alabama, teams are trying to impress the Committee.
November 9th, 2018 at 11:15 PM ^
That’s exactly why I also took Georgia. Would have taken Oklahoma, but their defense is about as bad as Louisville’s
November 9th, 2018 at 9:26 PM ^
MSU upset because I want the conference championship for the seniors.
Any advantage going into The Game.
Other stuff, national stage can sort itself out later.
November 9th, 2018 at 11:14 PM ^
100% agree. I just want to feel the security of knowing the conf champ game is in the bag and division is closed for business when we go into The Game.
Definitely want the playoffs, but if the committee is going to get so fickle as to drop us because osu lost a 2nd game, well...this is all just an exercise in futility then.
November 10th, 2018 at 9:55 AM ^
I've been saying that all week. We want a demoralized OSU to play on 11/24.
November 9th, 2018 at 9:41 PM ^
Anyone play DFS for cball?
In real gambling I like OSU and Northwestern at 10.5
November 9th, 2018 at 9:45 PM ^
I've done a line-up the past 2 weeks, pretty low stakes since it's such a crap shoot.
November 9th, 2018 at 11:37 PM ^
Same here. It is a lot of fun. But, it is too many teams to follow to lay any major loot on it. Seems there is always an obvious play that everyone else sees but I miss. A lot of fun though. I have taken DPJ on both of his larger games.
November 9th, 2018 at 9:47 PM ^
This is what I'm on:
Illinois beating +17.5
OK St beating +20
Alabama covering -24
USF beating +13.5
ND covering -17.5
WVU covering -12
Michigan/Rutgers over 47.5
November 9th, 2018 at 11:59 PM ^
I like the UM/Rutger over too. Am I the only one that thinks it’s really low?
November 10th, 2018 at 12:37 AM ^
Hard to call. We could score 60 or 40. Rutger will probably get 7 at best.
November 10th, 2018 at 6:36 AM ^
I like all those except ND. With Wimbush, their margin of victory hasn't been great and while I think they'll win, I'd take the points.
November 9th, 2018 at 10:08 PM ^
Buckeyes are 3-6 against the betting line. They haven't covered since September. Tomorrow's weather will make passing difficult. Ohio State struggles to run, and MSU has a top run defense. Take MSU straight up.
November 9th, 2018 at 10:42 PM ^
Snow showers before 1 pm
November 9th, 2018 at 10:11 PM ^
Hate to say it, but Ohio State gonna whoop Michigan State. Don’t quote me.
November 9th, 2018 at 10:14 PM ^
Here's what I'm thinking:
Michigan -38 (small bet; did anyone notice the OU is 48? LOL. Vegas thinks we're gonna play at a snail's pace and Rutger won't score.)
BC +19
VaTech +3
OSU -4
Northwestern +10
LSU -12
Miss St +24
Florida -6.5
Illinois-Nebraska under 69
And call me absurd but I think FSU wins at ND.
November 9th, 2018 at 11:10 PM ^
You’re not absurd. I don’t think FSU wins outright, but should cover
November 10th, 2018 at 5:42 AM ^
FSU looks to be getting worse and not better. Taggart has his hands full this year. I don't care how good Clemson is, if you are FSU, you have enough talent to not let Clemson hang over 50 on you. That score says more about FSU players than the coaching staff. Florida State has had 2 or 3 top 5 recruiting classes in the last 4 years. I think their worst showing in recruiting was 11th in last 4 years. The talent is there. In short, they have recruited better than Michigan.
In nasty cold weather, with a FSU team that has not bought in, I see ND winning like 34 to 7.
November 9th, 2018 at 10:20 PM ^
Don’t bet on Louisville. What a c.f.
November 9th, 2018 at 10:30 PM ^
I'll have a cupcake while mulling that 39 point spread.
November 9th, 2018 at 10:43 PM ^
Rutger is the cupcake.
November 9th, 2018 at 10:48 PM ^
Yes, the red ones
November 9th, 2018 at 11:09 PM ^
Smooth Jimmy loves cupcakes.
November 9th, 2018 at 10:49 PM ^
What effect will 33 degree weather have on Clemson?
November 10th, 2018 at 12:32 AM ^
Great question. Half of me thinks they'll struggle. I wish it would rain/sleet/snow as well. A real shitstorm would help BC.
November 9th, 2018 at 10:49 PM ^
wow, now I see how the doubles happen!
November 9th, 2018 at 10:58 PM ^
Why is NW such a big dog? Looks fishy to me. When i see a spread like that it makes me believe Iowa is really gonna smoke them
November 10th, 2018 at 5:44 AM ^
I think Iowa wins, but that spread is too much for a NW team that has played all the good teams tough.
November 10th, 2018 at 6:40 AM ^
NW is weird. Played good teams tough like you said but also almost lost to Rutgers.
November 9th, 2018 at 11:08 PM ^
I’ve got:
Michigan -39 LOCK
MSU +3.5
Ok St +18
Arkansas +13.5
Ole Miss +12
Miss St +24
Syracuse -21 (already got my money on that)
Georgia -14
West Virginia LOCK
Duke -11
Oregon St-Stanford under 61
Florida St +16.5
Middle Tennessee -13.5
November 9th, 2018 at 11:53 PM ^
Non-thread worthy question. With Dylan out, what is the likelihood we might need Milton the next three to six games? If we need him, then do we just not play our number two fullback, Wagner? I know this is entirely unlikely but why have two number 3s both of offense?
