Sam Webb has a gut feeling
This morning, Sam Webb, on his WTKA show, said he has a "gut feeling" that we'll be getting our first football commit...most likely today.

Commence (possible) rejoicing. Also commence guessing at the identity of the commit...

But what the hell do I know

Ron Thompson is waiting a little while before deciding and Kaleb Ringer is announcing on April 15th.

This would be awesome and a great start to 2012 recruiting.

"I don't know........Bob Hope?"
That was Mitch Cumstein.

If I were Sam Webb, I might go see a doctor. With all his Gut Feelings, I find it likely he's developed cirrhosis.

My actual guess is either Godin, Thomspson, or Braden. Wormley would be nice as well.
Wormly is my guess.

But, if it were to come in a little over a week or so, I would go with Sid Finch.
If the commit were to come 51 years ago, I would go with Atticus Finch, although I've heard Boo Radley might have been on the verge of committing as well.
Sid Finch throws too hard for our receivers. Plus, with all the secrecy surrounding his delivery, we would never get any spring practice videos again.
Beaver posted on the Scout board "Two visitors today (Thursday)" at just after 12 pm. Then at 12:49 someone also posted "Zeke Pike mini-update"
EDIT: I saw on a different message board that Beaver said someone is expected to commit today and it was someone mentioned in a previous thread. There were 4 kids mentioned: Godin and Braden, plus Kaleb Ringer and Zeke Pike. Any of these 4 would be just fine with me.
Hey all,
As far as I know, my brother (Godin) hasn't reached a decision yet.
than tell him to just commit already and bring O'Brien with him!
or simply tell him that he is much wanted by most people on this board
He came on here when there was that big dustup about Godin "being done with Michigan" because he hadn't been offered. The above poster (tigers06) kind of explained where Matt was coming from, etc. I believe that was the day he registered, so unless it's some regular poster who created an account solely for impersonating Matt Godin's brother, he seems to be on the up and up.
If I've been reading the tea leaves correctly...
...many of you haven't been.
There are some wild-ass guesses in this thread.
I was told that the recruit was/is being driven to Ann Arbor by his coach today. If that happens then the commitment might come.
On pins and needles! Go Blue!
...and so might some of the fans on this board.
Time to break out the Traffic Tracker.
I guessing this is someone that wasn't on your list.
If he is on your list, the only person that was said to be in on Thursday is Zeke Pike. OMG!!
I don't think it's Zeke Pike.
According to this headline, it seems like Pike had to reschedule anyways.

coach imply he could be from further away than schools near Ann Arbor? Prlly not, but could it? COULD IT??!!!
Thanks to Tom and my Inspector Gadget like detective skills, I think I may have solved the mystery. If anyone read the article posted on Freep today about Braden, the last sentence of the highlighted quote below, really sticks out to me now. It really makes me suspect that more than likely Ben is the "player" riding up to Michigan today with his coach. That and hes seems to be the closest player that I know of other than maybe, Kaleb Ringer, who plans on commiting in the immediate. We shall see.....
Braden said "I would probably say Wisconsin has been recruiting the hardest. My plan is to (make college chocie) in person with coach."
Beaver has said it's either Ringer, Godin, or Braden. My money is on Braden. I wish I knew as much as Tom! (VH)
cold, warmer, warmest
I said it above, but what about Joe Bolden?
It's possible, but I don't think it's likely.
I do believe that the poster above is legit and is Godin's brother, so I would tend to believe he is "in the know" as you say. Therefore I think it is safe to assume Godin will not be the commit. Also, Ringer has said he will announce later in April. Therefore, I believe it is safe to assume Braden is our Man!
I was thinking that it might be Grant Hill or Jim Nantz, but Hoke doesn't seem too interested in having any bitches on the team.
does one actually feel a gut feeling....bc im a little anxious!
Any updates?

Welcome to MGoBlog, you fucking addict.
and we're keeping it from you on purpose..just to make you mad
Looks like the recruit I mentioned above did make it to Ann Arbor today with his coach.
