Rutgers @ Michigan(-22.5)

Submitted by Walter Sobchak on
Good Friday morning all. On SPORTSBOOK right now, UM is only -22.5 against Rutgers, which seems quite low to me. Looking at how their offense matches up with our defense and that they just gave up >400 yards to Purdue at home, I think Michigan should be able to cover this one. Thoughts?

Michigan is probably going to have to get to 30 points to cover the spread.  As bad as the Rutgers offense is, our defense hasn't shut anyout this year.  Given that the strength of the Rutgers team is their defense, I think Michigan can cover the spread but I wouldn't call it likely.  I think the spread is quite accurate for this game.  If Michigan covers the spread, the offense will have shown improvement.

I'd be thrilled if Michigan can put together something like 5 touchdown drives.  Because quite honestly, nothing this year says that is the most likely thing to happen.

I'll be generous and say Michigan barely covers the spread, 31-7.

for all the gamblers and those who want to dress properly.

right now 44 degrees and raining pretty hard. My friend is bringing her daughter in to A2 now for a recruiting trip. UCLA weather looks real good right now. She could play RT.

We will win by however many we want to.  There should be very little angst involved in this one.  Would love to see a Peters TD pass, Kareem Walker get a few touches, and the defense allow less than 100 yards for the game.

GO BLUE!!

I’m going 27-10. I think Michigan scores a late touchdown to put it completely away. I would absolutely love to be wrong and watch a game of mcdoom sweeps and DPJ over the top coupled with a mauling run game.
