RR Spring Presser link
Usual caveat - didn't see this posted yet, so I thought to share for those who are starving for football.

Scroll to football and it should be the first item.
if you listen to the beginning when he talks about the QB situation, it's pretty clear that RR's splitting snaps between Sheridan, Tate, and Cone and wants 2 to 3 solid guys deep. Unless you think he is lying (which only he knows), this shows that he didn't push out Threet.
GO BLUE!
I actually looked for it on there earlier and didn't see it.
I liked the part about setting the record for spring game attendance...let's make it happen.
The Helmuth comments gave me a good chuckle. The days of the all-pizza diet are truly gone.
I clicked on the link but I could not get it to load. What am I doing wrong.
it doesn't work on Firefox.
In the past, I've had problems with mgoblue and firefox, but I got the video to run with no problems today.
It was interesting to hear the athletic department's philosophy on scheduling non conference opponents... seems as though our 20 year contract with ND is "preventing" us from scheduling another BCS out of conference team... I guess it just reaffirms what was assumed.
I know FB is our cash cow, but I wouldn't mind giving up one home game in one of the following years to play another BCS opponent. The only thing that can come out of playing DII (or whatever they are called) opponents is bad... No respect for winning and we all know about losing them.
"David [Cone] will get some snaps too..."
Go Coner!
....in response to a question from Chengelis about Threet:
"I only talk about the guys who play for Michigan."
He also answered my recent post pondering about Ferrara - he said that while Ferrara could switch back to D-Line, he's not going to make the switch. Sounds like he likes what he has on the O-line.

I use Firefox on Mac for everything except mgoblue.com video feeds. Switch to Safari for it.
I downloaded safari and was able to watch the press conference.

I really like that RR only talks about guys who are playing for Michigan. That is very reminiscent of Bo's "A Michigan man will coach Michigan" edict.
I am hoping RR goes down in history as a great coach who finally fulfilled his potential at UM.
I really like where he talked about stressing fundamentals and tackling and the like on defense rather than schemes.
