/r/place returning - We need your help!
We are mobilizing the M troops!
Reddit recently announced that on Friday, April 1st, they will be bringing back https://www.reddit.com/r/place/
For anyone who is not familiar with what /r/place is, it was an April Fools event on Reddit in 2017 which started with a blank canvas and everyone on Reddit was allowed to place one pixel every 5 minutes. As you can see from the final image of the first iteration, the Michigan contingent managed to get a block M in there, but for anyone who was there at the time, it was a fight. This time we are getting some warning, and can plan. We'd love to be even more ambitious and maybe get a bigger block M and also 42-27 in there.
What can you do now? First of all, make sure you have a Reddit account today. There may be a cut off that only people with accounts before April 1st are allowed to participate.
Second, join the Michigan Discord. We have a channel for discussion and planning, and we are hoping to have a reminder bot set up to make it easier to defend our space.

The block M is in the lower left corner, along with other B1G logos. There is one Midwestern team logo from a school that wished they were in the B1G, but only have their toe in via Hockey.

You didn't miss anything. There are some rumbles that something may be in the works, but nothing else is known at this time.

Weird the the Illini fans had to put UIUC in there so you'll know the Urbana-Champaign campus was involved (and not the Chicago campus).

The creator of /r/place is the same as the creator of Wordle (Josh Wardle), a fact that kinda blew my mind
