That's where I'm a bit perplexed as well. If he was going to leave, I wonder why he hasn't already done it. Seems like he would've taken the leap once Minter was announced as well.

I wonder if he's listening to Brian's advice. If you really want your chance to step out of your dad's and uncle's shadows and not have people wonder if you've gotten to where you are because of nepotism, staying at Michigan is a great opportunity to go and do that.

So this should settle AG back to Detroit where all his haters reside.  Hopefully Brad gets him some more talent so we can discern if he is the right guy long term.

AG gets way too much hate.  The defense made a giant leap this year without the infusion of talent they tried to buy (CJDJ and Mosely barely played).

2024 is the year to judge AG.  Assuming we talent at CB and along the defensive line, he'll have the tools to the job.

To this point, he's been working with a roster that I'd put in the bottom ten of defensive talent across the league, maybe the bottom five.

Who had neither Vrabel or Belichick landing a HC job a month ago on their bingo card!

Actually a bit more surprised by Vrabel due to his age and BB's want of most of the power in any organization he would want to go to.

Never really came close, but man I thought after the Cowboys flamed out it was going to be Belichick in Dallas. It made a lot of sense: team is good enough to win the games Belichick needs to break the record while Jones is unlikely to let him construct the team. Was probably Dallas' best bet at a Super Bowl.

I think we can all agree that Eric Bieniemy has got to be the single worst job interviewer on the planet.  Guy leaves KC so he can get an opportunity to show he's not just a figurehead under Andy Reid and still cant the HC job when it opens up.

Interesting that they didnt let EB go right away and said that'll be Quinn's decision to make.  Due to this being such a late hire in the cycle he might just get boxed out for the 2024 season.

After this many years, how bad could someone be in an interview?

I know he had to get out from under Andy Reid's shadow to prove that he could lead the offense but didn't exactly blow things out of the water in Washington. Why he would've picked Washington in the first place is another question of his decision making being they had a coach on the hot seat and a dearth of QBs on the roster

Here’s your trivia fact of the day: The last Washington coach to have a winning record in his first season was a Michigan grad.

George Allen in 1971. There you go.
