Great movie, and awesome venue to watch it. Wish I was there.
I am kind of partial to WaterBoy with Adam Sandler

Friday Night Lights is my favorite football FILM - great acting, writing, themes etc, but if I want a good FLICK I will go with Remember the Titans. It's corny and I love it.
Otherwise, it was ok.

Too much artistic license and too little accuracy.
That could easily have been a 3-hour movie and would never have felt like it was being dragged out.
The movie was terrible. It didn't discuss most of themes that were in the book (racism, bending grades for athletes, the political and social rivalry of Odessa and Midland, etc.) To top that off, they put all the players during the games in UA gear, which wasn't even invented in 1988. I've never been more disappointed watching a movie. On second thought, that was the last date on went on with my girlfriend at that time, so double whammy.
This would have been a great one to show too
30 lbs of rip in 1 summer? hes gotta be on something
Nobody heard from that nerdy E Gordon Gee professor guy after that meeting with Sonny Corleone.

I voted for Frozen. My group of friends have a bunch of little girls and it would have been fun to take them to the stadium but we will probably pass and see what they do next year. I thought Frozen or Goonies had a good chance but it makes sense that the football movie would win.
When I read the title, I thought the OP was referring to our last NC team, the '97 team with Woodson...
Excellent football movie, but not one that my 3 year old would sit through. I was hoping for the cartoon.

Are you trying to tell me they don't actually test kids on their protective instincts? My world has been shattered.

Well, if it was going to be a football film, then I do agree with others - this is definitely one of the better ones out there. Actually, I watched it again a couple weeks ago and it really doesn't lose anything for me. Very strong from start to finish, I thought. My kids - being 8 and 7 - this might be a hit-or-miss proposition as it isn't quite their cup of tea yet anyway.

If it would have been 'Goonies,' I may have roadtripped. If nothing else but to lead a mass Truffle Shuffle at the Big House.
I don't know why I know that.

I see what you did there with that title. To me, It all depends on how well she's aged. I have a thing for older women.
