Recruitin' - Randy Moss's kid at WR Scout Report

Submitted by BornInAA on

So my boy's team just lost to a team last night in Charlotte (jr. varsity).

The WR puts up about 150 yds and 2 TDs - and our team has a good defense (we were 6-1).

Turns out he is Randy Moss's boy, he had hands like pillows of glue, our corner was right on him but it did not matter.

Don't know if Harbaugh and Moss get along...

Did you guys see the clip last week of Randy Moss nailing 40 yrd FGs in his business suit  and dress shoes before an NFL game last week?  Even at age 40+ the guy is an athletic freak.

Agreed that Randy's antics as a player were dumb.

However, I highly recommend the "Rand U." documentary on his upbringing (I think it's one of the many 30-for-30 spinoffs, and it's on Netflix).

I have lived in WV for two years and worked with schools across the state - definitely gives one a sense of perspective when judging the actions of a guy like Moss.

Second the recommendation of the Rand U. documentary. It was terrific. Based on the documentary it looks like Moss is doing very well now, much more mature and contributing to his community.  The documentary showed clips of a free fitness clinic that Moss runs in his hometown.

Success is a matter of opinion.

Donald Trump has been far more successful than Moss, you, and 99.99% if we use your economic measure.

Moss is cool dude now. But he was an ass at times in his career. So have many players. I am willing to bet that you would not be so forgiving of a white man if acted like Moss did early in his career.

Well this is unrelated, but i'd be down to watch Woodson, Moss, and Manning on the same NFL show. That'd be pretty wild. It's not often that most of the heisman finalists share that kind of professional success.
