One note: when I wrote "they have a bunch of other games airing, but none that we care about," I was specifically referring to ESPNU and the other UM-osu games which, yeah, we don't care about those.
Of course, the basketball game is one we care about. I would've edited the OP, but as you know...

I'm still thankful that my friend's late father got his brother to give me one of his tickets for that game. He didn't have to do that. I would have been fine at home and never would have known the difference. I was just thankful to have been alive when it happened. I didn't care if I had to watch it in a box with a fox.
I don't make many predictions but I was 100% sure we were going undefeated that season.

I have this game recorded on 2 VHS Tapes (first half/second half) with 1997 Big Ten Champions written on the front of both!!

I was at the game, and Woodson returned the punt in our end zone
switching back and forth between the 97 game and basketball while smelling turkey....great day
