Penn State Schadenfreude (loss to Iowa puts them at 0-5)

5th Big Ten loss in one season is most since Joe Pa went 2-6 in conference in 2004 (4-7 overall). Kinda pisses me off that Michigan's terrible season gets so much talk on national sports programs but I've barely heard mention of the Penn State debacle. Goes with our profile I guess.

Everyone hates us.  60k apply to attend Michigan each year and 54k get rejected.  That is a lot of hate over 20 years ... like over 1 million people.

OSU hasn't really had a great season by their standards, either. Didn't exactly blow out Rutgers at home, decently tight battle with Penn State especially knowing how bad they are, one score win today over a team they have higher recruits at every position across the three deep. Fields threw 3 picks today. That's insane for an OSU QB

Let’s hold off on the Schadenfreud discussions until (1) we beat Penn State, (2) we actually play for a Big Ten championship, (3) we beat Ohio State. The reason people give Michigan fans so much crap is because we literally say stuff like this, when we haven’t backed anything up on the field in almost two decades.

Schadenfreude post feels like a self-own -- especially if a team gets their first (or only) win vs UM. I think it'll be a shitshow next week, and won't be surprised to give Frames his first W of the year. Their losses have looked better than UM's which is saying almost nothing, but it's still true.
