RIP to a great one. Kudos to Bert for the decline. The man knows great loss this season, himself.
Godspeed, Bulldogs.

Cutting onions with this post. What a beautiful way to start this game.

It didn’t help that I lost another longtime colleague the same day that Mike died, and equally as unexpected.

Sorry that's happening to you, XM. It's disconcerting when people fall out of your life. Not a good feeling.

Now THAT is how you observe a few moments of silence, on a big stage, for a special someone!

Texas Tech did the same a couple of weeks back to start their bowl game after lining up in a legendarily pure Air Raid 4-wide formation. The opponent (forget who) also declined. A great way to start the game while acknowledging a coach that changed the way mid-level teams offense to be be competitive. You don't have to like Mike Leach as a person, but you do have to realize he was the designer of one of the most popular offensive schemes in college football today.
