Our long nightmare is over - The turkey has been captured
The turkey terrorizing North Campus has finally been captured. The bird was stuffed into a cage near Bursley Hall and sent to an animal rescue facility.

Dave Brandon thinks he'd make a good mascot.
pffft you meant to say Dave Brandon is a jive turkey
Jive Turkey reset at 1:58....
YEAH
it was copS, plural.
Cause I'm a karate man....
moi?
A turkey on North Campus once tried to test me, I ate his turkey breast with some fava beans and a nice chianti
But I get a drumstick and demand mead. There will be dancing and pie.
I take it you frequent renaissance fairs a bit too much on the weekends?
is how they like to say it. Be sure to stop by Ye Olde Souvenir Shoppe on the way out.
I saw this... "The bird was stuffed...."
and instantly thought the worst. We don't need another Cecil situation on our hands.
will there be on the turkey being captured? That nightmare might not end until tomorrow.
She did not disclose which facility the bird was sent to, saying it didn't need the undue attention that was sure to come with having taken the bird.
If it is one of those white collar facilities where you get cable, a butler and free tennis lessons, I might very well get into a turkey costume and start wandering around North Campus myself.
I assume it was dental students who lured this majestic bird over near their school and promptly captured it for the fame? When will these glory seeking b*****ds learn? And if this post makes me an anti-Dentite, so be it.
Damn, that looks good. You just made me hungry. And I'm not even hungry.
"One-a Wild Turkey Surprise, comin' up!"
Turkey roulade, Mario Batali-style. Doesn't Mario's son go to Michigan?
Bo had no problem with aggressive feral turkeys running amock on campus. My dad told me that he'd have Don Nehlen get thousands of wild turkeys to fill the perimeter of Oosterban, starting fights and raining crap down on scrimmage to prepare the team for away games at the horseshoe. They beat OSU three years in a row using that method.
Just goes to show how much damage video games are doing to our yout that today's engineers and architecture students can't deal with even one single angry tom..
