At least you pulled Brett Wallace for Gose.......still can't figure out what Toronto was thinking there.

EDIT: Surprised they didn't move Myers either.....dunno if his value will ever be higher than it was after he dominated the Cubs this week.

Yeah. We didn't pull in quite the value Oswalt or Berkman were worth (especially given the money we're still paying on both), and I heard that to move Myers or Wandy, it was going to take a knockout return package. I wouldn't have minded. If we're going to fire sale everything tha twe don't control, might as well get rid of what we can. Now if only we didn't owe Carlos Lee a ridiculous amount of money. From what I hear, he's not even projecting as a full time starter the rest of the season.

What's even more amazing is that all twelve runs were accumulated with two outs in the inning and that Ian Stewart was mere feet away from hitting a two run homer that would have given them 14 runs.

It's Milton Bradley's fault btw.

and watched the entire inning ...

it was ugly, painful, and kind of like watching a car crash you cant look away from ...

we had 2 outs before they scored a run, they had like 11 straight hits, they batted around twice

its just part of being a cubs fan

we know we will lose but we cant help but care anyway

I used to use the perennial success of Michigan to offset the perennial disappointment of the Cubs.  And now?  Now, I drink.
