Seems Pav had really turned his game up the last few games now. I was starting to question if he was injured as he was playing slow the last two weeks, but i think he is finally staring to warm up this season. Amazing and smart play he had there with Bertuzi at the end.
I am also glad to see Bertuzi to get it going. Like most i was questioning him and thought he might have been the problem with Pav's slow start, but he seems to be getting up to speed. Cannot wait to see us when we are healthy. Just in time for playoffs.

to really turn things around from the slow start, then right now is perfect! 2 in a row with 2 goals from Bertuzzi, both game winners?! These are the Wings I remember! Were coming back!

At the Wings for a moment here? I know we're still behind Chicago and Nashville, but my God, this team has been through hell and we're still right there. We basically lose a top line due to free agency/salary cap in Samuelsson, Hossa and Hudler during the off-season - then to start the season, we lose another line of Franzen, Filppula and Williams to injury. Now we just recently lost Cleary, and yet this team is managing to stay in the mix.
I can't say enough about the D - Lidstrom, Rafalski, Stuart and Ericsson have all been playing really well. Our forwards back-check and our goaltending, as maligned as it's been - seems to be pretty steady. I would think that most teams losing as much talent as we have (to free agency and to injury) would be hard-pressed to be where we're at right now.
There's just something about the Wings that makes you think that whoever they plug in there is going to do the job. Of course that's not really the case, but they certainly can make you think that way with their continued success.

called Mike Babcock and his perfect hair. That doesn't hurt, probably.
