OT: The Wannstache Gets Extenstion at Pitt

Just interesting to note that a coach who started his Pitt career 16-19 was able to turn the corner and go 19-7 over the last two years.
As a bears fan, I have seen "The Stache" and his somewhat limited coaching capabilities, yet, the potential for a striking parallel to RR and his eventual righting of the Michigan Football ship is clearly present.
Given my belief that RR is a superior coach, there is no reason to think RR couldn't do in 2 years what Wanny did at Pitt in 3...
But he has no Stache of his own, so he will fail.
Why can't we have more threads like this one?

How'd the "Stache" do when he was the D coordinator for the Cowboys?
The stache is gettin the cash.
I'm thinking Jeff Kentstache or Mike Piazza... I'd throw in Adam Morrison Gonzaga version, but frankly I'm not sure his secure spot on the Lakers bench constitutes eligibility.
Especially after the debacles in Chicago and Miami, but it sure does piss off a lot of PSU fans when they lose a recruit to their "little brother". I think of him as the Big East version of Zook.
Not that long ago, ND fans were mocking Pitt for hiring Wannstedt at the time they hired Weis. Oops.
