Has not been a good hockey outing for Team USA lately. Let's hope they have a better effort tonight.

...but how does the Slovak defenseman get away with an obvious cross check on our goal scorer in retaliation and not get a minor?!! Worse yet, several seconds later we get whistled?

Chad Kolarik actually playing key minutes here, instead of being scratched. Good!

Still think this is supremely weird with these rosters. Though Kenny Albert's "Hershey Bear and FORMER Hershey Bear" reference was amusing in a pitiful sort of way.

Jordan Greenway (Boston University) had the second goal against Slovenia; Ryan Donato (Harvard) scored both power play goals against Slovakia.

On February 5, Greenway's BU team beat Donato's Harvard team 3-2 in Boston's Beanpot tournament, and then they had to take a flight together to South Korea.
