OT - Tigers; Stop me if you've heard this one before
'i'll have a whiskey, but set it up with a shot'. the bartender gives him the perfect set up, but then the tiger reliever drops the whiskey, breaks the glass, burns the bar down, collects 10 million dollars of the bar's money, and then leaves about 2 years later.
if you were expecting a punch line, sorry. this is a true story and it's destined to repeat itself approximately 117 times this season.

...downs three shots then yells "The Tigers relievers are horses asses." Has another shot and repeats the remark. Fella walks up a knocks him down with one punch. Guy lies there rubbing his jaw and says " this must be Tigers country." Fella says... "Fuck no, this is horse country."
A cartoon had it right this morning -
"Every time the Tigers go to the bullpen, a baseball gets its wings"
This is making me miss the days of Todd Jones where at least I could ride the rollercoaster and expect to have not thrown up at the end of the ride.

Too many injuries, an awful bullpen besides 2 arms (who ironically were the losing pitchers the last 2 days) and some unlucky bounces. They really just need to survive and hang around .500 until Miggy and JD come back then the bullpen can at least blow games that have meaning.
Don't know what to say. I'm a White Sox fan, but I'm waiting for the bottom to drop out. Fool's gold, any wins this time of the year.
Hard to get mad at Ausmus when I don't know what he should do, either. He's still dumb though.
