Hopefully the bats stay hot. I think the chilly weather may help porcello. And please Ajax keep getting on base!
Anyone know somewhere to listen to the game for free online?
I was looking for a good online station as well. Nice work.
I've bookmarked it for the season. Too bad it's 45 seconds behind the TV broadcast on FoxSportsDetroit, but I'd much rather listen to Dan Dickerson than Mario and Rod and their "banter".
Rod Allen is great. He does a good job of pointing out different strategies and is one of the best when it comes to all the intricacies of a batter/hitter matchup.
3 up 3 down on 11 pitches. Good start!!
Miguel with a nice diving play to his right and a strong gun to first to get Longoria.
I found a sketchy place that's streaming it that i got linked to from another message board. It does indeed have a stream going with a less-than-HD picture. But it's certainly better than nothing:

FYI, you have to wait like 30 seconds for the ad in the middle to allow you to close it.
Stickin' it to Big Baseball, AND Comic Sans Explosion? hail2you, sir!
btw, Google Chrome with AdBlockPlus seems to be keeping me ad-free.
Nice throw by Jackson, and even nicer missed call by the umpire. Take what you can get.
I think Fielder was a good 2 steps off the bag...lol
3rd inning already...This is going to be a quick game!
Come on Ricky!! Getting into some trouble here with 2 outs!
Porcello's worked his way into a jam here in the 3rd. Bases loaded, 2 out, Longoria at the plate.
Rick in a jam here, hopefully we can end this inning without much damage.
ITH THNOWING
Crap. Bases-loaded walk to Longoria. 1-0 Rays.
Woo I'll take being down only 1 after that mess, PS Jhonny nearly botched that one with the scoop and a weak toss.
That could have been much worse! Let's get those bats going!
HBP and walk to give up a run. Lucky to get out of that inning only down 1.
Good vision AJ. Come on Boesch!!
2 out rally for the Tigers with the big bats at the plate now, Matt Moore looks like a solid, solid prospect.
I'll take that!! A run is a run!!
This is vintage Porcello (aside from the walked in run). Fifty-three pitches through 4 innings, lots of groundballs, looking good for his first start of the year!
Nice play by Peralta.
This is got to give us an advantage that we are facing these Florida boys in snowy weather.
Every pro baseball player is a "Florida boy." This is the coldest any of them have played in since last October, if not last April.
How about Jackson showing some plate discipline?? Two walks in 3 ABs today.
this could be a big inning
For those who don't know (all with two outs): Jackson walked, Boesch singled (jackson adanced to third), Cabrera intentionally walked. Fielder up now...
Edit: BLAST. That was a good opportunity to score. Oh well, Moore won't be much longer for this game. He's over 80 pitches through 5 innings. How's their bullpen looking?
Ducks on the pond for the Tigs and Prince at the plate, make them pay for walking Miguel!
Time for a Fielder Grand Salami!
or a pop out
nice play by Fielder. These big boys can play some defense.
Shows how much respect the league has for Cabby
I've only caught 5 innings of FSD Tigers coverage this year, and I've already heard Rod mention the fact that Ryan Braun only received 2 intentional passes all last season *twice*! I assume that is *way* more times than the Brewers' color guy has mentioned Miggy's 2011 intentional walks.
HAHA. In 4 hours and 150-160 game they televise on FSD, they are bound to repeat themselves several times!
Is there a website that tracks such stats live?
Porcello has been strong so far. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
Run for Tampa, 2-1. Did Jennings reach on an infield single? All it says in the MLB Gameday thing is "singles on a ground ball to Peralta."
Perralta got to it, but never threw it. Molina scored on it, then G$ threw out Jennings stealing 2nd
