OT - Tigers' catcher Bryan Holaday poses with Kate Upton
The impetus for this post was more for the funny picture that Holaday took with Kate while she was, so it seems, visiting JV down at Spring Training. The suit Holaday is sporting is funny to me because I recall the pattern from the early 70s, one of my summer swim teams as a kid wore the same version. Joba Chamberlain snapped this picture and shared it on Twitter:

Out of curiosity, did you read my write up or go straight to posting about your displeasure with it?
There would be posts about what they both have in common (you know, he's a catcher, Verlander ) but we are too good to go there.
In the full image on Twitter, I am pretty sure it is Max Scherzer in the sombrero in the foreground wondering whether or not it is worth turning around to see what has transpired. I suppose it would depend on where you would like to focus your attention, given who is standing there, but still, he did get into a photo with Kate Upton and this is worth something indeed.
that is Scherzer and he looks like he wants to crack up laughing but not sure if he should. Sorry you can't unsee the picture though, brother.

Also, as mentioned, Scherzer in the sombrero makes the photo... Cool points to Joba for taking and posting this shot. I'm hoping he has a great year in the Olde English D.
