OT: Thursday Night Drinking Thread
Wanted to create my first thread, tonight. First I just want to say how great the board is and it's fun coming on here everyday and sharing the Michigan love.
Tonight is my 7th day--out of a total 11 days--for my current vacation. I'm up north in Bellaire. Just got back from Short's brewery, and I picked up a growler of some nice seasonal beer. It's the "Black Cherry Porter" a very nice stout. It has a tart flavor but a very smooth and roasted finish.
The other drinks on tonight's menu are:
- Irish car bombs. I have some guiness, bailey's and some crappy whiskey.
- Jager Bombs. More of a young man's bomb, thankfully I'm still a young man.
- Vodka + Redbull. Read #2
- A dirty 30 of Busch Light..... would've picked up PBR (same price) but the store was out.
- Smirnoff Lemon. Not sure what to do with this, but we have some... so who knows.

haha those were both great. Kind of supports my statement though. That first commercial wouldnt make much sense now that PBR is russian owned.
I would like to see a commercial for PBR with an out of shape Ivan Drago crushing PBR. That might win me back

Light beer is all the same, I had three choices at the store.
- Busch Light
- Naty Ice (The drink of Sparty)
- Milwaukee's Best Gold (The beast)
I would come up with some witty joke as to why PBR is a good choice and Rolling Rock isn't, but i'm already 5 bombs in, and 5 beers. So cheers!

I would agree light beer is pretty much the same but we all have a preference. Out of those options Busch was the obvious choice. I would drink keystone light before Milwaukee's Best

EDIT: after spending an hour on the tractor with the front-end loader and the blower, i have decided that it is time for a glass of wine. its red. we only had maybe 6-7" of snow, but it has drifted up to the shins all over the place.

Mike Weber changed his heading on his twitter page. He has gotten rid of "Committed to THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES #Go Bucks". This could be a very good thing if he did this a "re opening of his recruitment".
