You know it's a fail when the ad is for Spartan anything. Beyond the brand, the placement and introduction of these ads really blows. I realize we are all trying to be creative in this environment, but this one is a little too much.

Tonight was the first night I can remember that the Wings have done it. I remember the first game of the season the Rangers had it on and I thought it was a real advertisement on the glass at first. Pretty much every NHL team has been doing this throughout the year.
Personally, it annoys me because I keep looking at the ad on the glass instead of watching the play.

Just tuned in to the game this evening and noticed this for the first time. Ugh. Apparently the ads around the boards aren't enough. Makes me want to avoid Belle Tire.
Not a big fan personally.
